While you can increase your stats and weight capacity, there are other ways to manage this issue. One of the best methods is storing items you don’t always need in a safe place. This helps free up space, allowing you to carry more important gear while ensuring that your stored items remain accessible whenever needed.
How To Store Items
Before you can store items, you need to have access to a storage chest, and you might be wondering how to get these. They can be found near your personal bed in the game.
During certain parts of quests, you will receive a few free beds that you can use to rest. However, that’s not convenient, as you need to have a bed in various locations to make it easier to access them.
This is where Lodging and Taverns come in to provide this service. If you speak to the owner, you will have the option to rent a bed for one night or a longer period. Once you agree, you can ask them to direct you to your room.
You will see a bed icon on the map indicating all your personal beds that you can use.
Inside the bedroom, you will find a chest near the bed that you can access. This will bring up the menu with the Found side on the left, which is the inventory of the chest, and the Player side on the right, which contains all the items you have on you.
All you have to do is select the items from the Player side and then confirm it to the Found side. Doing so will store these items, making you lighter and ready to pick up new ones.
It’s worth noting that the items you put in one storage chest will be available in all other storage chests, no matter their location or region, so you don’t have to worry about where you store your items.
