Blizzard has given Overwatch 2 fans a look at some of the cosmetics that are coming to the hero shooter as part of Season 15 and beyond. Overwatch 2 adds a fresh batch of cosmetics every season, ensuring fans constantly have something new to outfit their characters with. Some Overwatch 2 cosmetics are earned by completing the battle pass, while others can be snagged by purchasing them from the store. Others still are unlocked through in-game challenges and special events.
The most elaborate Overwatch 2 cosmetics come in the form of the Mythic skins that give heroes and weapons radical makeovers. New Mythic skins are added to Overwatch 2 every season, and the same holds true for the upcoming Season 15, which will see the debut of a brand-new Mythic skin for Support hero Zenyatta.

The new Mythic Pixiu Zenyatta skin gives the fan favorite Omnic a new angelic makeover, with “heavenly” new looks and sound effects for his orbs and Ultimate ability. In the meantime, Damage hero Widowmaker is getting the new Mythic weapon for Season 15, which will be added to the game about halfway through the season. Overwatch 2 players can also look forward to unlocking impressive-looking purple Galactic weapon variants by playing Competitive.

Blizzard didn’t just shine a spotlight on some of the cosmetics coming to Overwatch 2 in Season 15. The developers also gave fans an idea of what to expect from cosmetics in future seasons. The Overwatch 2 Season 16 theme is Maho Shojo, aka “Magical Girls.” Dubbed Dokiwatch, Overwatch 2‘s Season 16 cosmetics will split skins into two groups: Heroes of Heart and Hollow Hearts. The women of the Overwatch 2 roster will be getting Magical Girl-themed makeovers, with Juno getting a Mythic skin based on the concept. Mercy, meanwhile, will be getting the Season 16 Mythic weapon.

It was also revealed that D.Va will be getting a Siberian tiger-themed Mythic skin for Season 17, while Reaper will be getting the Mythic weapon for that season. Overwatch 2 fans can expect fresh collabs in 2025 as well, though only one was confirmed during the Spotlight event. Le Sserafim will have a new batch of cosmetics added to Overwatch 2 in March, marking the second crossover between the hero shooter and the popular South Korean girl group.

It will be interesting to see how many of these cosmetics will be unlockable through Overwatch 2‘s returning loot boxes and how many must be purchased from the store or earned through the battle pass. Time will tell on that front, but regardless, Overwatch 2 fans will have plenty of new skins to add to their collection in 2025.
