How to earn League Medals in CoC
League Medals can only be earned through CWL. They cannot be purchased, but are instead awarded based on your clan’s performance in CWL and individual contributions. Here’s how you can earn them:
- Clan Placement in CWL: The higher your clan ranks, the more medals everyone receives. As expected, finishing first fetches the highest.
- Stars Earned in Wars: You earn a percentage of medals based on the number of stars they collect.
- Bonus Medals from Leaders: Clan Leaders and Co-Leaders can distribute extra medals to top-performing members. You’ll be notified about the same in the clan chat.
Now, if your clan improves in the War League rankings, you can also notice higher distributions. For example, a clan in Crystal III gets a bigger share than a clan in Gold I. This applies to the bonus medals as well. If you are a beginner, the CWL tutorial fetches you 50 League Medals.
How to spend League Medals in CoC
Spending is the fun part of course, and you have one safe space named the League Shop to go through the purchases. You have multiple items to purchase there. Always prioritize Hammers since they skip both resources and upgrade time. Hammers have a 7-day cooldown, meaning you must wait a week before purchasing the same type again.
However, different Hammers can still be bought during this period. You can hold up to 2,500 League Medals, any excess is converted to 1 Gem per 10 medals. To avoid waste, it’s better to spend medals wisely rather than relying on conversions. Builder Potions are useful for speeding up multiple construction projects. Avoid spending medals on Gold or Elixir, as these resources are easy to farm.
