How To Solve The Bloody Mary Case In Urban Myth Dissolution Center

In the previous episode of Urban Myth Dissolution Center, you encountered a case known as The Man Under The Bed. By the end, you discovered an Illuminae Card and researched it with the Director. This episode’s case, however, is different—it begins when a live streamer named Kinoko claims to have seen a ghost.

As always, Azami acts as the Director’s hands and feet, investigating the case. Alongside her is Jasmine, your driver and friend, joining you on this adventure. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, there’s a mystery waiting to be solved, and this guide is here to help.

After the The Man Under The Bed case in the previous episode, you will receive a new case from Director Meguriya. This case involves a livestreamer, and in one of their videos, a ghost appears behind him. Just like in previous days, Azami will set out to solve the case alongside Jasmine.

Your first task will be conducting social media research, where you need to find a total of three clues:

1. To find the first clue, click on the image comment under the main post. This will reveal that the ghost is a woman.
2. Next, select the comment: “Kinoko Tanihara is the top ghostwatcher in the country now. Hard to believe he used to prank vids all those years ago.” and put on your glasses. This will unlock the Kinoko Tanihara keyword.
3. Then, select the last comment at the bottom: “This apartment is on the spirit spot map. Seems like the real deal…” and use the glasses. This will unlock the spirit spot map keyword.
4. Once you have the two keywords (Kinoko Tanihara and spirit spot map), select them in the search bar. This will open a new window. Click on the post that includes image in this window to obtain the second clue.
5. Without closing the newly opened window, select the comment: “Old lady? I heard it was a young woman who stands waiting for you by the front door. That’s the apartment rumor.” and use the glasses. This will unlock the apartment rumor keyword.
6. In the search window for Kinoko Tanihara and spirit spot map, select the last comment. This comment is about Umeki Flats in Umekicho. Selecting it will reveal the final clue, completing the social media research phase.

How To Complete The First Day

When you arrive at Umeki Flats 104, you will meet Kinoko Tanihara and notice that he has one of the Illuminae Cards. Your main goal here is to find eight clues:

1. First, ask Kinoko about “About work”.
2. Then, click on the “Eccentric client” button on the left to take a note about Kinoko.
3. When asked about his hair, choose “Kinoko-san” as the correct answer.
4. Exhaust all dialogues with Kinoko, then ask him about “The card’s prophecy” and select “Are you sure this is a good thing…?” to obtain your first clue.
5. Interact with the camera next to Kinoko. Choose “Observe”, then “Look Closer”. This will update your objective to check the entrance.
6. Interact with the floor in front of the laptop. You’ll notice that one of the tatami mats has been replaced, but this is not a clue.
7. Exit the building and go under the stairs. Exhaust all options, but this also won’t give you a clue.
8. Outside, you will see Neighbor. Talk to her and exhaust all dialogues to obtain the second clue.
9. The left-side menu will now show “Creepy woman”, and you can take a note about the neighbor. Choose “Ghost” as the correct answer.
10. Exhaust all dialogue with Jasmine, then return to Kinoko and ask about “The ritual”. This will give you the third clue.

Put on your glasses and interact with the shadow in front of the window. Exhaust all options. The left-side menu will update with “What happened during the stream?”, prompting your first hypothesis phase:

After solving the first hypothesis, you will obtain the fourth clue. Now, interact with the murderous shadow in the center of the room. Go back outside to the Neighbor and ask about “Ghost’s characteristics”. This will give you the fifth clue.

Select “Haunted house?” from the left-side menu. You will need to pick a journal entry. The correct answer is “Long-haired woman in a white dress”. Next, select “Details on the incident?”, triggering another hypothesis phase:

After completing the second hypothesis, you will obtain the sixth clue. Now, interact with the floor in front of the laptop again and select “Look closer”. This will give you the seventh clue. Finally, talk to Kinoko and choose “Let me guess…” to obtain the eighth and final clue. At this point, Director Meguriya will call you, and the Identification Phase will begin.

Identification Phase

Once the Identification Phase is complete, it will be revealed that this urban myth is Bloody Mary. This marks the end of the first day, and after watching the events unfold, you will move on to the second day.

After speaking with Jasmine, your first task is to conduct another social media research. This time, you need to find five clues.

1. Click on the first image post on the homepage to see the ghost. This will give you the first clue.
2. Select the comment: “What was the Umekicho place called again? Umeki Flats or something? Where the girl killed a guy and then herself?” Use your glasses to obtain the Umeki Flats keyword.
3. Search for Umeki Flats in the search bar. Scroll down and click on the first newspaper image comment to obtain the second clue.
4. On the Umeki Flats search results page, select the comment: “Miwako Yotsuya! She’s famous, at least where I live. Have people not heard of her?” This will give you the third clue.
5. In the Umeki Flats search results, click on the last post at the bottom of the page. This will provide a clue that the murdered man had been cheating on the woman, giving you the fourth clue.
6. Return to the main search page and select the comment: “But people always suspect that Kinoko Tanihara does possible set ups.” Use your glasses to obtain the “Possible set ups” keyword.
7. Search for “Possible set ups” and click on all comments to obtain the fifth and final clue.

How To Complete The Second Day

Umeki Flats 104 – Find Four Clues

After completing the social media research, you’ll return to Umeki Flats 104, where you need to find four clues.

1. Talk to Kinoko and exhaust all dialogue options. This won’t give you a clue, but a new question, “How would one set things up?”, will be added to the left side of the screen.
2. Go to the right side and talk to Neighbor. After exhausting all dialogue options, you will obtain the first clue.
3. Put on your glasses—you’ll see two shadow figures. Kinoko’s shadow is in front of the mirror, but interacting with it won’t provide a clue.
4. Instead, go to Jasmine and the ghostly shadow behind her. Interact with them and exhaust all available actions to obtain the second clue.

Click on the “How would one set things up?” question on the left side to complete a hypothesis:

Completing this hypothesis will give you the third clue. Talk to Kinoko again and ask for his phone. This will grant you the fourth and final clue.

Umeki Park – Find Four Clues

After speaking with Jasmine, Azami will arrive at Umeki Park, where you need to find four clues.

1. Talk to the Park Keeper (the man wearing a hat on the far left) and exhaust all dialogue options. This will provide a clue related to the cheating aspect of the incident.
2. Click on the Park Keeper’s name that appears on the left and enter information about him in your journal. The correct answer is “the man who died.”
3. Speak with Hinata, the woman standing in the middle of the park. Exhaust all dialogue options and ask her about “Rumors about the man” to obtain the second clue.
4. Click on the “Promenading Lady” name that appears on the left and enter information in your journal. The correct answer is “Woman’s ghost.”
5. Interact with the tall man on the far right side of the park. After exhausting his dialogue options, he will ask you to find a book, and you will obtain the third clue.
6. Put on your glasses—you will now see the shadow figures of the tall man. Interact with the shadow in front of the bench. Then, remove your glasses and interact with the bench again.
7. Give the book you found to the tall man. After this, Director Meguriya will call you, and you will receive the fourth clue.
8. Click on “Man in Black” in the left menu and enter information in your journal. The correct answer is “strange power.”
9. Speak with the Park Keeper again and ask him about the creepy man in black. This will complete the investigation, and the day will end.

How To Complete The Third Day

Umeki Flats 104 – Find Five Clues

On the third day, you will return to Umeki Flats 104. This time, there will be no social media research on the way. You need to find five clues at the location Talk to Kinoko and exhaust all dialogue options. Then, select “Why did the ghost’s actions change?” from the left menu and complete a hypothesis. The correct answers are:

Completing this hypothesis will give you the first clue.

1. Talk to Kinoko again to obtain the second clue. He will ask you to find an item related to the ghost.
2. Continue speaking with Kinoko and exhaust all dialogue options. Then, go to Neighbor and ask about “belongings left in the room.” After that, select “Could we see them?” He will give you a knife, which serves as the third clue.
3. Return to Kinoko and talk to him again. He will take the knife, and you will obtain the fourth clue.
4. Exhaust all remaining dialogue options with Neighbor to obtain the fifth clue.
5. Interact with the laptop and select all available actions to complete your investigation.

Umeki Park – Find Four Clues

After investigating at Umeki Flats 104, you will head back to Umeki Park to find more clues. Jasmine will not be with you this time. You need to find four clues in total.

1. Talking to the Park Keeper will not give you any clues. Instead, speak to Hinata and exhaust all dialogue options. This will give you the first clue.
2. Interact with the bush next to Hinata. Azami will notice that some branches are broken. Then, put on your glasses and interact with Azami’s shadowy figure in front of the bush. Select all available actions to obtain the second clue.
3. Interact with the shadowy figure next to Azami. You will notice that, despite being a ghost, it has visible feet, which will seem unusual to Azami. Remove your glasses and interact with the far-right area to choose the following options:
   • “Follow the tracks”
   • “Check the branches”
4. Speak with the Park Keeper and ask “Have you ever seen the ghosts?” He will tell you that ghosts do not appear in the park, which will grant you the third clue.
5. Ask the Park Keeper all remaining questions to obtain the fourth and final clue.

Once you have found all clues, evening will arrive, and Director Meguriya will call Azami. There will be nothing else you can do for now, so just watch the events unfold.

As always, you will be traveling with Jasmine and need to conduct a social media research before proceeding. You must find three clues.

1. Click on the main post where Kinoko gets busted to obtain the first clue.
2. Find the comment: “Photo proof of Kinoko’s set up is liiit! lololol If this goes viral he’ll never outlive it! #setupbusters” Select this comment and use your glasses to unlock the #setupbusters keyword.
3. Search for #setupbusters and on the results page, find this comment: “When Kinoko’s went viral, Darkspec News picked it up…” Select it and use your glasses to unlock the Darkspec News keyword.
4. While still on the #setupbusters search results page, scroll down and select the last comment. Then use your glasses to unlock the people involved with incident keyword.
5. Search for people involved with incident keyword, then click on the comment which photo-included newspaper image at the bottom. This will provide information about the ghost’s father, giving you the second clue.
6. Search for Darkspec News, then click on the image-containing comment to obtain the final clue.

How To Complete The Fourth Day

Umeki Flats 104 – Find Two Clues

After arriving at Umeki Flats 104 with Jasmine, the Director will call you. This will require you to find two more clues. First, talk to Kinoko and go through all the dialogues. This will cause Azami to see the ghost in the mirror, obtaining the first clue. Then, go through all the dialogues with Neighbor to obtain the second clue.

Miwako Yotsuya’s Father’s Home – Find Six Clues

You will arrive at Miwako’s father’s home, where you need to find six clues.

1. First, go through all the dialogues with Miwako’s father to obtain the first clue.
2. Click on the newly added “Impression of father” on the left and add information about him to your journal. The correct answer is “He wants to see her.”
3. Talk to Jasmine, then ask Miwako’s father about “the apartment.” After that, talk to Jasmine again to obtain the second clue.
4. Speak with Miwako’s father again and go through all the dialogues. Then, interact with the cardboards next to him and complete all actions to obtain the third clue.
5. Interact with the altar on the far right side of the room and select “Open” to obtain the fourth clue.

Click on “Why the conflicting info?” on the left to complete a hypothesis:

After solving this, put on your glasses and interact with Miwako’s father’s shadow figure to obtain the fifth clue. Lastly, go through all the dialogues with Jasmine to obtain the final clue.

How To Solve The Dissolution Phase

After finding all the clues, the Director will call you, and the Dissolution Phase will begin.

After answering these questions, all you need to do is watch the events unfold. This will conclude Episode Two.
