There are many characters who can be romanced in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and while some of these are main characters with implications for the plot, others present short-term flings in the midst of a brutal war.

During the Wedding Crashers quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Henry has a chance to romance Doubravka.
Widow Johanka is a romanceable character who firmly falls into this latter category, only briefly making an appearance in the game, with many players possibly not even talking to her at all. Henry can meet Widow Johanka of Zhernov (not to be confused with his friend Johanka from the first game) at the banquet during the ‘For Victory’ main quest.
How To Romance Widow Johanka In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After completing the ‘Necessary Evil’ quest and unlocking the ‘For Victory’ mission, players should wait till the evening and then talk to Sir Hans at Trosky to attend the banquet together.
Prepare For The Banquet
However, before they do so, players should consider a few things. First of all, there will be a warning that they will be locked out of free-roam gameplay for a while as the main story progresses in a more linear fashion for a few quests.
Secondly, players with intentions of romancing Widow Johanka can use the time before the banquet to prepare. Make sure Henry is clean and well-dressed, and perhaps brush up on his Speech and Scholarship skills too. Perfume can also help raise Henry’s Charisma.
Enjoy The Feast & Talk To Widow Johanka At The Banquet
After progressing through the opening cutscenes of the feast at Trosky, Henry can go around and talk to guests, with a few optional activities. Players may want to do these first, as successfully romancing Johanka will skip time to the morning.
When they are ready, they can strike up a conversation with Widow Johanka who is sat between the priest and scribe of Trosky. She will ask to hear of Henry’s adventures, and here players have to pass a Scholarship skill check.
Telling Henry’s Story To Johanka – Correct Options
While telling the three guests about Henry’s turbulent time in the Trosky region so far, players will have to choose the correct dialogue options to romance Widow Johanka, while also passing another skill check.
Henry can start his story in three ways, all involving different skill checks. With the Liberal Arts Scholarship Perk, players will see the difficulty of their options. The first two options seem to be the easiest, but it will depend on Henry’s stats.
- Speech: ‘It was a lovely day for bathing’.
- Scholarship: ‘Lord Hanush entrusted us with delivering a message’.
Choose either, unless one of your stats is really low, in which case, avoid that option.

When Johanka asks what happened next, there are two correct options.
- ‘They almost killed us‘ (humorously).
- ‘They chased us into the rocks‘ (scarily).
Either of these will keep Johanka engaged in the story. Don’t choose the last option as she won’t be as interested. The answer to her next question about the Bailiff does not seem to matter, so choose either.
Accepting Widow Johanka’s Offer
Impressed with Henry’s story and the man himself, Widow Johanka will ask him to accompany her, under the premise of finding her friend. To romance Widow Johanka, players simply have to agree.
If players want to go complete other option activities and talk to other guests, Henry can say ‘Sorry, maybe later’ and return to her when done.
Once outside, Johanka will make a more forward proposal, which Henry can accept with ‘I think I can convince you‘. The two of them will then spend the night together, and Henry will wake up with the rest of the For Victory quest ahead of him.
