After completing the Necessary Evil main quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you will face another major twist. The next quest, For Victory, will take away your freedom to roam the open world freely, so it is better to complete the side quests you want to.

If you haven’t found Pavlena or Mutt yet, it is better that you do so before starting this quest. The quest starts off pretty simple with Von Bergow’s army getting ready to fight the bandits. However, the bandits were one step ahead and laid a trap for you. That is why we will tell you how to complete this quest with ease.
The Banquet
Once you have talked to Von Bergow, wait for the evening to talk to Hans. You can skip time or just do some side activities to pass the time. Once it is evening, talk to Hans and attend a banquet with him. The banquet will feature a lot of people whom you can talk to.
The feast will be started by Henry and Hans talking to Von Bergow and Chamberlain Ulrich. Once you have finished with them, go talk to Hans again. You can now enjoy the banquet.
There are tons of events you can take part in, so if you want to enjoy yourself to the fullest, make sure to talk to everyone who is interested.
Talk to the people interested in you, but make sure not to select the options where your skills don’t have enough points. There is also a pretty interesting side quest you can trigger during the mission where you will have to steal Florian’s ring for Knight Hermann Littlehead.
After you have done enough side activities, you can romance the Widow of Johanka of Zhernov. She is already pretty interested in Henry, so choose the right dialogue options and spending the night with her will give you the “time well spent” buff.
How To Get The Armor And Wine For Hans Capon
Now, you must prepare for the upcoming battle and for that you need to get the armor from the blacksmith for Hans Capon. Go over to the blacksmith and ask him for the armor. The blacksmith will say that he’s out of good equipment, but he is lying, so choose the “I’ll tell the Chamberlain” option if you have enough Charisma. This option is the best one as he will give you the armor.
Hans is picky and, of course, annoying, so he may not accept the armor the blacksmith gives him. If this happens, don’t try again and again as you just need to repair everything the black gave you and the issue should be resolved.
Now it is time to get the wine from the kitchen, so head over and look for Katherine. However, that woman is nowhere to be found, so you will have to talk to the cook, Manyeta.
She will agree to give you the wine, but first you will have to do something for her. Manyeta will ask you to open the chest for her, but if you fail to do so, just tell her, and she will give you the wine either way. Once you have both the armor and the wine, it is time to head over to Hans and give them to him.
Make sure you are completely ready before heading out for war. Spend your perk points and buy good armor and weapons so you can have the upper hand in the war. There is going to be a lot of fighting shortly.
Now that Hans is ready, the journey will start, but it won’t end well for Von Bergow’s army as an ambush is awaiting them.
How To Deal With The Bandits
With morale being pretty high, the Chamberlain is leading a massive army to destroy the bandits. However, the bandits were one step ahead and planned an ambush.
You are tasked with the duty of protecting Hans Capon at all costs, so stay close to him and fend off the bandits. We recommend attacking them from behind when they are busy fighting the Von Bergow soldiers to kill them quickly.
Do not bother shooting the archers as they will respawn again and again to complete a scripted event.
Once you reach the Chamberlain, you will notice that he is stuck under his horse, so Hans will try to save him. You must protect him as he will be vulnerable to the enemy’s attack during that time, and then protect Hans as you keep heading forward and defeat all the upcoming enemies.
How To Get Around The Barricade
After traveling for a while, you will come across a barricade. Once you are there, you will notice some potions inside a cart, so take them. There will be archers so you can shoot them with your bow to make it easier for you and your allies to fight the enemies in front of you.
Now, go around the barricade and you will face two bandits. Defeat them and continue heading forward. Once you drop down, follow Hans and defeat all the enemies in the front. After defeating them, head over to the village and a cutscene will commence.
The cutscene will show Hans getting beaten by a bandit whom Henry will kill, and then they will be surrounded by some bandits. This is a fight even Henry can’t win. Now, Hans and Henry find themselves in yet another difficult situation.
The bandit in the black armor will also be there and Henry will rant to him about how cowardly they are for planning an ambush like that. Henry will continue the rant and the man in black armor will reveal himself and argue that it is better to fight like this than die. However, he likes Henry’s guts, so he will give him a fair fight.
How To Beat Captain Zizka
Now you have to duel with Captain Zizka. He is a good fighter, but you will have the hang of the combat by now, so this fight won’t be that difficult.
Just use the same method of perfect block and use the master strike. Make sure to hit him more than one time when you have successfully landed a hit, as this way you can catch him off guard. After striking him a few times, a cutscene will commence, which will take you to the end of the quest.
