The Beloved Buddies Event is taking place over the course of five days, active from Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 10am local time to Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 8pm local time. Make the most of this new Pokemon Go event using our complete guide below, including all event details you need to know!
Pokemon Go Debut: Dhelmise
Dhelmise will be available in Pokemon Go for the first time during the Beloved Buddies Event. During this event, you will have the opportunity to encounter and catch Dhelmise through the successful completion of its new Three-Star Raid.
Event Bonuses
There will be two active bonuses available to all players throughout this event. This includes:
- Catching Pokemon will reward you with double XP.
- Activated Lure Modules will last for one hour.
Additionally, when using Lure Modules during this event, you will have increased odds of encountering Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catching any of these six Pokemon will provide you with 500 extra Stardust.
Event Wild Encounter Pokemon
You will notice a change in the Pokemon appearing in the wild during this event, increasing the odds of specific event-themed spawning during the event window. Make sure to log-in and play during the Beloved Buddies Event for a chance to encounter and catching the following Pokemon.

- Plusle
- Minun
- Cutiefly
- Fomantis
- Volbeat
- Illumis
You will have increased odds of encountering Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce during this event.

Field Research Tasks
Visit different PokeStops during this event to acquire Event Field Research Tasks, only available during the days of this event. Completing these limited-time tasks will reward you with either Stardust or Tandemaus encounters.

There will be multiple Collection Challenges available to complete during the Beloved Buddies Event. Catch different event-themed Pokemon to complete these Collection Challenges, rewarding you with Great Balls and Stardust.
