There are multiple base metals needed for blacksmithing in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2; here’s how to get them to crafter powerful weapons.
When starting out in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and reaching Troskowitz, you won’t have anywhere to store anything beyond Henry’s inventory, so finding a place to store all your belongings will be another early-game consideration on top of finding food and a place to sleep. Fortunately, there are several ways to store items in the game to help things unfold more smoothly, including getting a free storage chest to store your loot.
Where to Store Items in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Storage Chest Location Near Troskowitz
While there are ways to carry more stuff in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, a place to store your stuff can help lighten the load when it comes to Henry’s inventory. To get a free storage chest, there are a couple of routes you can take via the game’s ‘Wedding Crashers’ quest:
- You can agree to help Miller Kreyzyl at the Lower Semine Mill to get access to a free storage chest and bed, kicking off the ‘Materia Prima’ quest. You can find the storage chest near the top of the ladder inside the building with the yellow washing above the door.
- You can learn how to make a sword with Blacksmith Radovan via the ‘A Blacksmith’s Son’ quest in Tachov, north of Troskowitz. As soon as you’ve forged a sword under Radovan’s guidance, he will give you a free bed to sleep in that also comes with a free storage chest for your stuff, located in the room left of the wheelbarrow by Blacksmith Radovan’s forge, as pictured below.
Whichever route you take to get to the wedding, you get access to a free storage chest where you can either transfer all items from your inventory or pick and choose which ones you want to store. To place items in a storage chest, open the chest and choose what you want to store from your inventory.
Helpfully, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s storage chests are universal, meaning that if you get a bed and chest elsewhere in the game, you can still access anything you store in the chest from other locations on the map.
Other Storage Options In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Of course, there are other ways to store items depending on how far you have progressed in the game. If you’ve already got a horse in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you can transfer items to your horse’s saddlebags. Additionally, you can get different saddles to improve your horse’s carrying capacity.
If you have enough spare Groschen, it’s also possible to access an empty chest to store items when renting a room at an inn.
