2025 Banner Rerun Wish List

2025 Banner Rerun Wish List

New characters in Genshin Impact are always nice to have, though reruns of existing characters are also much appreciated, whether it be another chance to get the character for any players who missed them, or a chance to get more character Constellation upgrades and/or weapon refinements. Until Genshin Impact reaches the point where new and improved methods for obtaining limited-time characters arguably become a necessity, the Event Wish Banner is still a great opportunity for unlocking characters.

Considering that some characters have gone over a year without a rerun, bringing this trend to an end in Genshin Impact’s future updates would surely be a welcome change. Between characters who haven’t received a rerun in a while and general meta characters, a handful of notable characters are more than deserving of a rerun in the Event Wish Banners at this point and throughout the new year in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact Leaks May Be Bad News For Cryo Fans If True

A recent leak from a credible source suggests that Genshin Impact’s upcoming updates could be bad news for fans of Cryo Elemental characters.

Genshin Impact Can Address the Character Rerun Waiting List in 2025

By now in Genshin Impact’s lifecycle, changes that could make limited-time characters more easily available are becoming increasingly popular requests among fans, such as adding more characters to the Standard Wish Banners and Paimon’s Bargains shop or adding a third Event Wish Banner in Genshin Impact. Until big changes like this come to the game — hopefully sooner rather than later — having certain fan-favorite characters rerun in the Event Wish Banner could potentially hold fans over.

Naturally, a rerun wish list wouldn’t be complete without a special mention of the characters at the far end of Genshin Impact’s rerun waiting list, both four-star and five-star characters. Regardless of how these characters fit into the current meta, it’s unfortunate that some of them have gone over a full year without a rerun, so it should arguably be a high priority for HoYoverse to consider this waiting list for future event Wish Banners after the upcoming 5.4 update.

Genshin Impact Reruns Can Avoid Another Cryo Drought in 2025

Throughout 2024, there was a drought of Cryo characters in Genshin Impact, with few new Cryo characters released and few Cryo character reruns featured in the Event Wish Banner. While this situation has already gotten much better after plenty of four-star and five-star Cryo characters appeared in recent Wish Banners, Genshin Impact can prevent another Cryo drought by featuring Cryo character reruns more frequently throughout 2025. Especially considering that some of these characters are already on Genshin Impact’s character rerun waiting list, they are more than deserving of reruns throughout the new year.

  • Alhaitham
  • Arlecchino
  • Chasca
  • Chevreuse
  • Furina
  • Hu Tao
  • Kazuha
  • Mavuika
  • Nahida
  • Neuvillette
  • Raiden
  • Sucrose
  • Xilonen
  • Xingqiu
  • Zhongli

Even though some of these characters have featured recently in the Wish Banners, these are generally considered some of the best, meta characters in Genshin Impact for their respective roles as DPS or support characters. Overall, these characters can be notable additions to any player’s roster, especially for newer players who don’t have as many options for team compositions for endgame content like the Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater. Hence, having them rerun at least one more time throughout the year could give players another opportunity to finally unlock the character, or to obtain some character Constellation upgrades and/or weapon refinements for their signature weapons.
