While most recognized Erivo and Edebiri’s indisputable talent, many felt they lacked the regal and imposing presence they felt was required to play Storm. Conversely, Wise has frequently been named by fans as a favorite for the role.
Curiously, Wise is notably older than the other rumored X-Men cast contenders.
