Digital Eclipse turned back the clock at the end of 2024 by releasing Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind. A game starring the original Power Rangers created in a 1990s style. However, the digital-only release element wasn’t very retro at all. That’s why its initial launch has been followed up with the reveal that Rita’s Rewind is getting a physical release, and now both editions of its physical version are on Amazon.
Digital Eclipse confirmed it had teamed up with Atari for a physical launch of Rita’s Rewind on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch last month, opening pre-orders exclusively at Atari. Not only does your physical copy of Rita’s Rewind come in a collector’s box if you get the deluxe edition, but you also get a Steelbook, a poster, and a lenticular postcard featuring all of the original Rangers. However, the best item included in the deluxe edition, for me at least, is the set of exclusive trading cards. One card each for every Ranger, and the deluxe edition of Rita’s Rewind is the only place you can get them.

The physical release of Rita’s Rewind doesn’t appear to be a limited-time thing either. It is being released physically like any other game, just five months after its digital version launched. There might be a limit to how many copies of the deluxe edition are produced, but for now, both editions can be pre-ordered on Amazon through the links in the box above.
The only downside to all of this is the wait for physical copies of Rita’s Rewind to arrive. Both the standard and deluxe editions of the game will be released on May 30, 2025, meaning you’ve got a few months to wait before they ship.
