The series Dungeon Elf – What’s a Dungeon without Treasure Chests?, also known in Japanese as Dungeon Elf – Dungeon ni Takarabako ga Aru no wa Atarimae desu ka? is, as the name implies, a story about an elf whose role is to place around treasure chests.
The story concept might seem odd, but it’s actually very interesting, as readers get to see this Elf – whose design is actually very similar to Frieren, adventure around and go through trials and tribunals, all with the goal of placing treasure chests for explorers and adventurers to stumble upon.
Seeing as Frieren is a fellow elf, and an adventurer at that, it’s not surprising to see why she would recommend this manga.
