- We know which of these is winning.
Like a Dragon, previously known as the Yakuza series, is no stranger to absurdity. For instance, the upcoming installment, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is about Majima sailing a traditional pirate ship all over modern-day Hawaii and having sea battles. The series is filled with ridiculous dialogue, instances, and even props.

I can’t wait to sail the seven seas as Goro Majima.
With Like a Dragon’s 20th anniversary coming up on December 8, 2025, developer Ryu ga Gotoku is giving you the chance to own some of these in-game props in real life. A list of 100 props has been detailed on the 20th anniversary website, and the ones that get the most votes will be turned into real merchandise you’ll be able to buy.
You Can Own Virtual Like A Dragon Items In Real Life
“We have prepared a total of 100 merchandise ideas, taking into consideration the opinions and feedback we have received from you all so far,” reads the description on the website, translated via Google. “Please look at the names of the merchandise and vote for the one you want, and we will “guarantee” that the top-ranked item will be commercialized within two years.”
The list starts off pretty sober. You can vote for a gold screen, gold plate, or a gold statue of Majima. Even the gold underwear feels relatively tame for the Like a Dragon series. Sake bottles and paraphernalia, along with a number of clothing items, accessories, and decor make up the bulk of the items. But things get weirder as you scroll.
The bizarre items on the list include what looks like an image of Majima in lingerie (the translation is a bit unclear), a massive street cone, a life-size cut out of Ono Michio, rice crackers from Ichiban Confectionery, a Chinese wok, passport photos of characters, and Kiryu’s Dragon Mask. However, we know that the top voted item will be the Majima body pillow.
Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait at least two years for these items to be manufactured into real merch. And then there’s the impossible task of securing an order before it sells out. But, it’s worth it if you can embrace Majima for a good night’s sleep.
