First of all, you need to head to a horse handler or a saddler to get a saddle. In the Trosky region, there are two places you can go.

First is the Horse Handler Mikolai who’s in the Nomad camp in the west of the region. If you’re on the other side of the map, you can speak to Saddler Matthew in Trosky Castle.

They will both sell saddles you can buy. You’ll need a lot of Groschen because they can be quite expensive. The better ones will be upwards of 500 Groschen.

Saddlers are indicated by a small, white horse’s head icon on the world map.

Now that you have a saddle, you need to follow the steps to equip it to your horse. You need to do the following:

  1. Head into your inventory and find the saddle there.
  2. Click on it, or press square/X on PlayStation or Xbox, to move it to your horse.
  3. Then, tab across to the horse section at the top of the screen.
  4. Now, find the saddle in your horse’s inventory and select it to equip it. A grey shield symbol will show next to it when it is equipped.

The saddle should now be equipped to your horse when you call it to your location. Henry will now be a lot more comfortable when riding around Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s world.
