Accompanying Love And Deepspace’s viral Tomorrow’s Catch-22 banner is the Savage Overture event. As with all events debuting alongside multi-character banners, Savage Overture comes with a wealth of rewards to earn and a fun new mini-game to try out over the event’s duration. The best part is, the event’s storyline directly ties in with the limited-time cards you can earn from the Wish Pool.

The galaxy is full of stars. Why not wish on them all?

With all the hype around Tomorrow’s Catch-22, many of you have been wondering just where Infold was going with the shockingly dramatic theme. Luckily, you don’t need to pull the limited cards to get the full story. Savage Overture walks you through everything you need to know about the world presented in the new banner.

Savage Overture runs from February 10 to February 27, 2025.

Savage Overture

Savage Overture is an investigation event in which you will be interrogating each of the Love Interests as suspects for an LCBI (Linkon City Bureau of Investigation) mission.

Each of the five love interests has a different role to play in the investigation, but each storyline is separate, and you aren’t tied to just one.

As you complete your investigation, you will need to earn and purchase special event materials from the Activity Log and Supply Center. You need these materials to progress your investigation and raise your Trust Level with the suspects during interrogation.

Activity Log

Love And Deepspace: An image of the Savage Overature Activity Log.

The Activity Log is your main source of income (and intel) for this event. As you complete the event task, you will earn Mugshot Boards, which can be exchanged in the Supply Center for interrogation tools and other rewards.

As you collect Mugshot Boards, you will also earn Effect Supressants, which are necessary for unlocking event stages in the Classified Files screen.

Some activities require daily participation, like completing the Daily Agenda or spending 300 points of Stamina, while others are one-time achievements that reward you for things like pulling event memories, watching event stories, and completing minigame stages.

Supply Center

The Supply Center is the event shop where you will exchange your hard-earned Mugshot Boards for prizes and interrogation tools.

The highlights of the event shop are 10 Deepspace Wish: Limited, which you can use in the Tomorrow’s Catch-22 pool, an Awakening Heart: SSR, a limited player outfit, and, of course, the necessary interrogation tools you will need to conduct Secret Meetings.

Story Stages

Love And Deepspace: An image of the Story Stage screen.

There are six story stages in the event per character, totaling thirty story stages over all five characters. In each stage, you’ll learn more and more about how the suspects connect to your investigation.

To unlock story stages, you need to use Effect Supressants and wait for each stage to unlock. Stages unlock about every two days.

How To Complete Secret Infiltration

Love And Deepspace: An image of the Secret Infiltration obstacles.

Secret infiltration is a minigame in which you need to maneuver your suspects up an obstacle course to collect Curisoty Boxes, Evidence Boxes, and Classified Intel.

Evidence boxes unlock Evidence in the Evidence file at the top right of the Secret Infiltration screen. The Evidence you earn will directly tie into your investigation, but not every file applies to every suspect.

The general rules of Secret infiltration are simple. Use the arrow buttons at the bottom of the screen to maneuver your suspect up a series of obstacles, obtaining Boxes along the way. You also need to complete the course within the time limit at the top of your screen.

Falling into the red laser at the bottom of the screen will result in the end of the round.

Hitting certain obstacles may hurt your suspect, hinder their progress, or kill them outright, so be careful when sending them through the course. Every Area has a different special obstacle than the last. All the obstacles stack up as you progress into higher-level areas.

Areas also unlock on certain days, so you won’t be able to complete all areas at once.

Each day, you will also have a cap on the amount of Classified Intel that you can earn with each suspect. The daily level caps are as follows:

150

February 11

275

Obstacles

Love And Deepspace: An image of the description of the Converyer Belt.

There are many obstacle types introduced in each Area and most will roll over into subsequent levels.

There are five platform types, but not all of them are safe to stand on. For instance, red Electric Grids will remove one heart of HP from your suspect when stepped on. After being activated, these platforms return to normal, but the damage will already have been done.

Fragile Platforms (which look like crumbling stones) will break after being stood on for a few seconds. You need to jump off of these obstacles quickly to avoid being dropped to lower levels or even into the electric wire at the bottom of the map.

Conveyor Belts and Springboards aren’t inherently dangerous, but if you’re not careful about what direction you go after standing on them, they may launch or drop you into other obstacles. Spring Boards will propel you two levels into the air and Conveyor Belts will move you in the direction that their arrows are facing.

Prioritize collecting Boxes in a level, however, not all boxes are safely obtained. For instance, some levels will place boxes over Electric Grids or Fragile Platforms. If you know that you may die in the attempt, don’t collect the Boxes. You can replay Areas as many times as you want to reach the daily Intel cap.

How To Interrogate The Love Interests

Love And Deepspace: An image of Sylus in the interrogation screen.

Interrogating the suspects is a bit of a process, and rightly so. You’re looking into their criminal wrongdoings, so they aren’t inclined to offer information easily. As a result, you will need to be patient and thorough in your investigation.

To enter an interrogation, select the Meet button on the main event screen.

As you discover and present new evidence to your suspects, their trust level with you will increase. The higher the trust level, the more intel you will receive from them about your investigation.

The caveat is that while you may earn all the materials you need to improve your trust level early on, you won’t be able to use them until they are unlocked by the whole server. Some trust levels only unlock on certain days, so you’ll have to wait until the time is right before you can learn new information from your suspects.

As you increase your trust level, you will also get closer and closer to the suspect physically. Each level removes a barrier between you and the suspects. For instance, Trust Level Two removed the first layer of the suspect’s cage. Eventually, you should be able to stand before them without incident.

Try tapping on your suspects in the event and interrogation screens. You may be surprised by what you learn.

Trust Level

Love And Deepspace: Sylus teaches the MC how to threaten people.

Trust level is vital in your interrogation. A suspect who doesn’t trust you won’t be inclined to open up or make any confessions.

To increase your trust level with a suspect, present them with evidence that you earned from your Secret Infiltrations. When presented with evidence, the suspects will start to fill you in on clues that you are missing.

A suspect who trusts you won’t have difficulty working with you during your investigation.

You can also raise trust level by presenting a suspect with special items in Secret Meeting.

Secret Meeting

Love And Deepspace: The MC interrogates Xavier.

In Secret Meeting, you won’t just be presenting evidence to your suspects, you will be using tools to get them to talk. Some tools are more forceful than others, but for the most part, they are all designed to get information from a subject.

Some subjects are more susceptible to interrogation techniques than others. The Truth Serum, for instance, won’t work on every suspect.

After using an Interrogation Tool on a subject, you might earn a valuable piece of information about them or their connection to your investigation.

If an interrogation event includes dialogue choices, don’t worry about picking the right or wrong one. You can replay any interrogation event from the Secret Meeting screen to see all the possible permutations of the interaction.

Once you have unlocked one Secret Meeting item from the Supply Center, you will have unlocked it for all suspects and can use it as many times as you wish.

All Interrogation Tools And What They Do

Love And Deepspace: Sylus admits that he would commit a crime if he were falsely accused.

Each Interrogation Tool only needs to be unlocked once and each suspect will react differently to them. This is the full list of Interrogation Tools and how each suspect will react:

Current And Upcoming Events

Love And Deepspace: An image of the upcoming events.

Since Savage Overture is a multi-character event directly following two other multi-character events, there aren’t many other events running. With the New Year’s celebrations mostly over in Linkon City, everyone is winding down after the festivities and settling into the routine of the new year, including the Love Interests.

However, there are a few roll-over events from the tail-end of the New Year’s festivities. Among them is the largely popular Illusio event which has been extended for almost an entire extra month due to popular demand. During Illusio, you can replay any Kindled memory with custom outfits. The event now ends on February 28.

The most notable events on the roster are the limited Tomorrow’s Catch-22 Wish Pool and the Lanternet Gift giveaway.

In Lanternet Gift, you will earn special rewards for logging in each day of the event. There are eight days of login rewards, but the event runs for ten days, meaning you have two days of leeway if you miss one. The highlight of the offered gifts are 300 Diamonds and 2,400 Chocolates to spend in the shop.

Lanternet Gift will end on February 19.

Finally, the Tomorrow’s Catch-22 Wish Pool — which ties in directly with this event — will run until February 26. During the event period, you have increased odds of pulling five limited-time alternate universe memories. You will also earn Memory Growth Rewards for upgrading the event memories during the event period.
