Invaders is one of those quests in Kngdom Come: Deliverance 2 that can be obtained on two different occasions. There are two ways for the quest to kick off, both originating from Innkeeper Betty. So, the player will need to talk to her sometime after the initial brawl that took place in the tavern. If the player happens to meet Betty while a band of Cumans are in tavern, they will get to experience this quest from the very beginning. But if the player sees Betty a long time after the initial brawl, the innkeeper will just report to Henry about what happened with the Cumans, sending him to talk to Vuytek about the rest of the matter.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – How To Get & Use Poison
Poison is a powerful tool that can help make difficult fights much easier in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2; here’s how to get and use it.
For those curious, there is really no difference between these two starting points. Although the player could gain a little bit more reputation with Vuytek or the Cumans if they start from the very beginning of the quest, this still isn’t that much of an advantage. On top of that, the way in which this quest is started will not have an impact on the outcome.
How To Start The Invaders Quest In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
If you grab the quest while the Cumans are in a tavern, Betty will ask you to serve them, but then Vuytek will start trash-talking the Cumans. Henry can take either side, but since he will need to visit the Cumans’ camp later in the quest, it’s best to try to defuse the situation by choosing the following dialogues:
- Good appetite!
- Everyone calm down.
- You’d better leave.
- Leave them alone.
After the final dialogue, you will be tasked to beat Vuytek, but remember there should be no killing, or the quest will end up in failure. After that, Vuytek will ask you to take care of the Cumans.
This is the end of the unique beginning of the quest. If you grab this quest after these events or if you refuse to serve Cumans when Betty asks for it and come back to her later, the Invaders quest will begin after the tavern events. With this approach, Henry will talk to Vuytek and will be asked to make sure the Cumans never come back to Troskowitz again. This is why it’s important to build a positive relationship with the Cumans.
Visiting The Cumans’ Camp During The Invaders Quest
The Cumans camp is northwest of the Nomad camp, as marked on the map above. You will first be tasked with asking about their whereabouts, but with the map above, there is no need for that.
Before you travel there, keep in mind that there is an optional side mission in this quest that requires a charisma of 20 or higher. The best way to increase charisma is to wear top-notch clothing. So, if you don’t want to miss the reputation from that side mission, wear something classy and get Henry’s charisma up to 20.
Talk to Vasko in the Cumans camp and feel free to exhaust his dialogues, but also make sure to drink with him. Now, if you want to opt in for the side mission, when Vasko explains Jasak’s love for a nomad girl, answer with “Maybe I could help.”

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – The Axe From The Lake Task Walkthrough
The Axe From the Lake is one of the many tasks that players can pursue in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Here’s how to complete it.
Helping Jasak During The Invaders Quest (Optional)
If you agree to help Jasak, follow him to the nomad camp and talk to the girl he is in love with. To get the best result, choose the following dialogues, and remember that with a charisma lower than 20, none of the answers will succeed.
- I’m a friend of Jasak.
- We’re not!
- He says you’re beautiful.
- He says he dreams about you.
- You should give him a chance.
After parting ways with the girl, someone from the nomad camp will block Henry’s path. To end things positively, answer him with “It was nothing,” and the side mission will conclude successfully.
Drinking With Vasko During The Invaders Quest
Come back to the Cumans’ camp now and talk to Vasko while agreeing to drink more. At night, he will ask you to go with Jasak and get some more wine. Follow Jasak and sing with him, but when he falls down, talk to the black dog on the path. Then, continue along the path ahead until you get a button prompt towards a chest. It doesn’t matter what you say to the dog. Open the chest and pick up the wine, but don’t touch the other things.
Open your map and use it to navigate back to the Cumans’ camp. Hand over the wine and when Vasko asks about what you stand out at, just say you are simply the best. If he dares you to swim, accept it, and then move forward in the pond to teleport back to the camp again.
Now, this is where the main part begins. Feel free to exhaust all the dialogues, but make sure to choose “Let’s talk about something else” or “Let’s change the topic” in the end, as this will bring up the matter of Troskowitz. When Henry pukes on Vasko’s shoes, you should answer with “I’m sorry, I’ll clean it up.” Then, Vasko will agree not to step into Troskowitz again.
The quest is now beginning to come to a close. Henry will wake up in the morning with a hangover. Wait several hours for the hangover to fade away and then teleport to Troskowitz to report to Vuytek. Tell him that you made a deal with the Cumans, and when Vuytek tries to confront you, answer with “They won’t cause any more trouble, trust me.” However, this answer will only work with a charisma of 10 or higher.
Alternative Method To Deal With The Cumans During The Invaders Quest
If, for any reason, you don’t like the Cumans, you can just kill them all in the camp and then report to Vuytek to finish the quest, but keep in mind that they are tough warriors, and it won’t be an easy fight. Also, this approach will result in a reputation penalty, even with Vuytek.
