Sharks have been among the most valuable fish in Roblox’s Fisch, thanks to the massive XP they offer, and the Ginsu Shark is no exception. This legendary rarity shark is a must-catch for completing one of the game’s bestiaries.
While it’s not the most profitable in terms of currency, snagging one is essential for solving the Poseidon Trial’s riddle. The Ginsu Shark grants nearly 1,800 XP and can be sold to merchants for up to 6,300 in-game currency. If you’re looking to catch the Ginsu Shark in Fisch, this guide covers all the ins and outs.

How To Find The Ginsu Shark In Fisch
Unlike other sharks that only show up during specific server hunt events, this one is a bestiary-exclusive fish. Ginsu Shark can be found by fishing in the waters around Ancient Isle in Fisch. This area is located on the backside of Moosewood, so grab a boat and head over. Plus, sitting on a fast boat will help since this spot is quite far on the map.
Ancient Isle has three fishing spots, but thankfully, you can hook a Ginsu Shark anywhere in the surrounding ocean. Just hop over any ledge and cast your line. One heads-up, though—when you reach Ancient Isle, watch for a warning notification. That means giant spikes are ahead, so steer carefully; otherwise, you’ll have your boat wrecked.
How To Catch The Ginsu Shark In Fisch
To get the Ginsu Shark in Fisch, you’ll need to use Fish Head bait and cast your line in the Ancient Isle’s waters during the night in the summer season. Fish Heads can be easily obtained by opening Quality Bait Crates, with each costing 525 in-game currency. You can get them from merchants at Atlantis and Terrapin Island. Switching the time to night will require a Sundial Totem; however, for autumn, you’ll need to wait sometime. Each season lasts nine real-time hours, so keep track of the time on the game’s official Wiki.
Since the Ginsu Shark has a -20 Progress Speed and 20% Resilience, you don’t need a super strong rod to catch it. However, luck is really important in snagging this shark, so it’s recommended to choose a rod with high luck stats. Plus, you’ll also want a rod with decent Lure Speed, as this fish can take some time to catch. Good rod options with both luck and lure speed include Heaven’s Rod, Rod of the Depths, or Tempest Rod.
As mentioned above, the Ginsu Shark can be a grind due to its rarity, so you might need to fish during the Aurora Borealis server event (or use an Aurora Totem if you have one). You can also buy Luck VI for in-game currency to increase your luck stats for 10 minutes. As with all legendary fish, a glowing yellow exclamation mark will appear when the Ginsu Shark bites your rod.
