Avowed File Size Revealed, Preload Available Now

Developer Obsidian Entertainment and publisher Microsoft opened preloading for the upcoming RPG Avowed, confirming the game’s full file size and storage requirements. Avowed launches on February 18, 2025 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.

For RPG fans and those looking for a new fantasy world to dive into, Avowed is the next big game to look forward to. Not only is it coming from a studio associated with classic RPGs like Fallout New Vegas and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2, but it’s also the next game to feature Eora, the setting of Obsidian’s Pillars of Eternity series. As the first Eora-set game since 2018’s Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, Avowed could be the start of a new Eora wave if successful.
