Enotria: The Last Song, a Soulslike that initially released as a digital title at the tail end of 2024, is getting a physical release this spring. The rollout of Enotria: The Last Song was surrounded by controversy due to a problem developer Jayamma Games was having getting the game approved and certified for release on Xbox Series X and S. This all led to Enotria‘s Xbox release getting delayed by three months to December, while the game launched on time for PS5 and PC in September.

One of many AA Soulslike games that were released in 2024, Enotria: The Last Song received generally mixed reviews from critics. The game was largely praised for its setting and incorporation of Italian folklore, but many felt the game’s combat and exploration left much to be desired. Paired with how busy the game release calendar was when Enotria came out in September, it’s fair to say the game flew a bit under the radar. The three-month Xbox delay didn’t help either, as Enotria came to the platform just two days after the critically acclaimed Indiana Jones and the Great Circle made its big splash on Game Pass.

Five months since its initial launch, Enotria: The Last Song has announced dates for its imminent physical release. On social media, Enotria revealed that its PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S physical editions will release on March 21 in Asia, and April 10 globally. Interestingly, Enotria‘s Deluxe Edition will also be available physically for PlayStation 5 users, while Xbox is only getting the standard version of the game.

It’s difficult to tell whether Jayamma Games always had a physical release for Enotria planned, or whether this move was in response to gamers who’ve been requesting one.

Souls fans who’ve been holding out for the physical release of Enotria: The Last Song only have about two months left to wait. As for Enotria itself, one gamer commented under Enotria‘s Twitter post asking about whether a PlayStation 5 Pro enhancement is in the works, to which Jayamma responded with “Not at the moment.” Perhaps Jayamma may have more to share about a potential Enotria PS5 Pro enhancement closer to the game’s physical release.
