While the bundle above is an excellent option to save on hardware while getting a competitive PC for most gaming and productivity use cases in 2025, it does have its limitations. The most important is the somewhat restricted power delivery in play for the bundled GIGABYTE motherboard (5+2+2 phase VRMs). While this is more than adequate for the hexacore Ryzen 5 7600X, it can quickly be overwhelmed when one moves to a higher-end, core-heavy CPU on socket AM5. This calls into question its upgrade potential for most users who plan to upgrade to a higher-end CPU down the line on the same socket.
Likewise, the RAM modules, while adequate for most use cases do offer a significantly higher CAS latency than most G.Skill Flare X5 alternatives also on-site, something that could slightly impact performance, especially for users wanting to build on top of the existing combo provided by Newegg with higher-end components down the line.
