Who are the teams and what is the format for the SPS Challenge Finals MLBB?

The SPS Season 6 featured open qualifiers leading to the Open Finals, Challenge Season, and finally the ongoing Challenge Finals. At each stage, teams were directly invited based on past performance.

The 12 teams currently competing in the SPS Challenge Finals are as follows. They have been split into two groups for the first stage, where they will compete in a single round-robin format with the top 3 teams advancing to the playoffs.

Group A Group B
ONIC PH Falcon Esports
Selangor Red Giants EVOS Holy
Team Liquid ID Team Falcons PH
Bigetron Esports ONIC
See You Soon RRQ Hoshi
Team Flash Aurora Gaming

In the Playoffs, the teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket. The top team from each group will receive a bye to Round 2. All matches are set to follow a best-of-three format, except for the upper and lower bracket final (BO5) and the grand finals (BO7).

Who will make it to the Masters?

The main question from this tournament is who will make it to the SPS Masters MLBB. This time, the tournament is happening in Jakarta with a $200,000 prize pool featuring teams from China, APAC, EMEA, and also LATAM.

Therefore, this is the first truly international event in the MLBB 2025 esports roadmap. Of the teams competing, Team Liquid ID has already booked its slot in the finals as the host country.

To join them, there are some obvious favorites, while other teams will need to put up underdog performances. The obvious picks are ONIC PH, Selangor, and Team Falcons. Only time will tell who will move to the Masters, though.
