Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii PC Requirements Revealed

With 11 days to go until the release of Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Sega revealed the full slate of PC spec requirements that gamers will need to play the game smoothly. Sega confirmed that the recommended settings for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will need a graphics card like the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or newer, which should not be a problem for most gaming rigs.

Set six months after Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the upcoming title from Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (RGG) will put players in control of ex-yakuza member and fan-favorite character Goro Majima. Having washed up on the shores of a remote island and a case of amnesia, Majima is rescued by a boy named Noah and soon finds himself embroiled in a turf war between pirates and other island-dwellers. Alongside Majima’s seafaring shenanigans, Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will also give players a chance to play some of Sega’s classic titles, including Sega Racing Classic 2.

Sega launches a new account system featuring benefits and rewards for players, starting with Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.

Given that Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will also launch on PS4 and Xbox One, the PC specifications will not be difficult to meet. According to the game’s Steam page, Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will run at 1080p and 30 FPS on systems that utilize at least 8GB of RAM, and a processor such as the Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200, both of which are several years old. The minimum graphics cards that can run the new Like A Dragon game include the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, AMD Raden RX 560, and Intel Arc A380. For the recommended specs, players will need a CPU such as the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 alongside GPUs that include the RTX 2060 or newer. Sega also confirmed that Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will require 56 GB of open storage space, and will ship with the controversial Denuvo anti-tamper software.

RGG Studio also confirmed that the game is Steam Deck Verified, which will allow users to sail with Majima’s crew while on the go. It remains to be seen how the new Like A Dragon title will perform compared to the Steam Deck’s top games.

Between the turn-based battle system and a new take on naval combat on the open seas, Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is shaping up to be one of the top video game releases of early 2025. Only time will tell what surprises await Like A Dragon fans on the high seas.
