Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is getting towards its conclusion. We’ve been expecting an event to close things out, but it’s been fairly quiet on that front since the season began, that’s changed with the next Fortnite live event teasers starting up. Heading to one to the rifts that have been around the island, players can see the first tease in-game soon.

These big live events have always been a highlight for Fortnite players. While it was quieter on the event front for a few Chapters, Chapter 5 brought them back. We got mini events or full ones to close out each season last year, along with the final season getting more than one. Chapter 6 hasn’t had one yet, with it beginning with a cinematic trailer. However, with the next Fortnite live event teasers starting we can expect one soon.

The next event should now be coming in the next few weeks. This is what we’ve learned about it from the first teasers.

Next Fortnite Live Event Teasers start in-Game

With this weekend seeing a lot of players locked out in Fortnite, those on PC and some consoles did get a nice surprise. The next live event teasers have popped up, indicating we’re finally getting close to our next big event for Fortnite. The big change is with the rift portals dotted around the map.

Head over to these, and you’ll notice they’re now faintly glowing and beginning to change. From the story trailer that launched the season we know these are tied to the current Battle Pass skins and plotlines. However, we haven’t seen much happen with in-game so ar. It seems these will form a major part of the next Fortnite live event.

In terms of timing, we’re not sure when the next Fortnite live event will be, but the most obvious guess seems to be the end of the season. When the Fortnite season ends, we’ll probably get our live event. The exact day we’ll have to wait and see about though, there’s could be a day or so of downtime between the event and the season handover.
