Additionally, players need to make sure they have some cash, as it is the easiest way to guarantee a place to sleep and food to eat in most areas. Getting lots of money in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can be difficult at first, but this guide has tips on where players can start.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a success on multiple fronts, but the fast-travel system is one of its shining mechanical jewels.

How to Make Money Fast in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Dead Horse

Players want to earn Groschen as fast as possible in KCD2 to purchase food, gear, and weapons. Henry starts with very little to his name, let alone any money. However, players can earn cash and change their financial status if they do certain things.

Brew and Sell Potions

Henry Picking Herbs Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Henry learns how to do alchemy early in the game so players can start brewing potions and other concoctions. They can sell the items they brew to local merchants and alchemists.

This is a great way to make money since Henry has an endless supply of herbs he can pick at any time without spending money. Additionally, the better the potion grade, the more it is worth. If Henry is careful with brewing and follows the recipe strictly, his potions will be strong.

Talk to Riddler Barley

Riddler Barley Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

A speedy way to get a decent amount of money is to find the Riddler Barley. He travels between the villages and towns; if he likes someone, he will give them a chance to answer a riddle for a reward.

If Henry gets his riddles right, he will offer him information for a Skill buff or a chance to look through his purse. The first time earns players 150 Groschen, and if they answer all his riddles and choose the cash reward, it will be 550 in total.

Loot Bodies

Loot the Hermit Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Players can also get cash by looting any dead bodies they come across or create. As Henry travels between towns, he has to walk through the forest. It is common for him to run into bandits or vagabonds along the way that will attack on sight.

Players can loot their bodies and sell the gear if they defeat them. Most people have clothes, weapons, food, and, in some cases, Groschen. Players should be careful that the items don’t appear as stolen since stolen goods are harder to sell. There will be a little red hand symbol on stolen items.

Work for the Blacksmith

Blacksmith Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Players can also get a job with the Blacksmith as a part of the Wedding Crashers main quest. The Blacksmith is located in the town of Tachov in the northeast. He will give Henry a short tutorial on smithing and some recipes for commonly requested items.

Items such as horseshoes, swords, and work axes are easy to make and can pull in steady cash if players sell them. It does require hands-on work, and the more precise Henry is with his smithing, the better quality items he will make and sell for more.

Complete Side Quests

Side Quests Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Finally, players can complete side quests for a chance to get money in KCD2. Side quests can be picked up as players move through the main storyline naturally or sought out by speaking to the townsfolk and Quest Tipsters.

Side quests include finding items, taking down bandits, and exterminating dangerous wolf packs. Many of them result in a higher reputation and cash reward.
