The world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is twice as big compared to the previous game. This time, you don’t just have one region to explore but two, filled with quests, characters to meet, and so much more. However, traveling across the land requires a reliable companion, and in medieval times, there was no better way of transportation than horses.

Horses come in different shapes, colors, and stats, but if you want the best ones, you’ll have to know where to find them. Sometimes, though, the best horses aren’t always yours to keep. But we can let you in a little secret.
How To Keep Stolen Horses
Stealing horses is easy if you need a quick ride, you simply approach one and mount it. However, you might get in trouble if someone spots you and reports you to the guard.
But when you steal a horse, you don’t own it – it will only be available as long as you ride it.
This is where Horse Handlers come in, as they help you settle this problem. Thankfully, each region has one of these traders.
- In Trosky, you can find the Horse Handler Mikolai to the west of the map, where the Nomad camp is located.
- In Kuttenberg, the Horse Handler Stoia is located just west of the city of Kuttenberg, in a deserted camp.
Both of these will handle any stolen horses you have. All you need to do is take the stolen horse to them, making sure you’re not caught, and then speak to them.
If it’s your first time interacting with them, select the Horse Black Market option, and they will go into the details of their services.
Acquire Stolen Horses
The first option is self-explanatory. If you see a horse you like in the world, whether because of its appearance or its stats, you can bring it to any Horse Handler, and they will tame it for you to be your ride. Just select the Acquire option.
However, this is not a free service, and you will need to pay. The payment will largely depend on the horse’s value and stats.
The process will take a few hours of in-game time, but after that, the stolen horse will be yours. You can call it by whistling and summon it, and you won’t get into any trouble for that.
Sell Stolen Horses
On the other hand, if you want to make some quick cash and don’t have another way, selling stolen horses might be the solution.
The process is the same as before: you need to ride the stolen horse to the Horse Handler location, depending on the region you’re in. However, this time, you’ll choose the option to Sell it.
The price will vary depending on the horse’s value, of course, but it can be a good way to make some easy money – just make sure you don’t get caught with the stolen horse.
