The Alchiba system is a little-known system on the edge of the galaxy in Starfield. The Alchiba System has no specific quests, and is barren – with only a smattering of coral passing for indigenous life. Despite the system’s lack of excitement, as a true explorer and Constellation member, the survey data is worth the trip (and over thirty thousand credits).

You can make some OK credits selling survey slates in Starfield… or you can make better bank selling them to someone specific.

To set off on this distant journey, pack a grav drive that can weather an 18-lightyear jump, and the grit to ignore its recommended level of 50 (it’s perfectly safe unless a Starborn Temple spawns).

How To Visit The Alchiba System

Starting at the Alpha Centauri system, then looking to the far bottom of the galaxy map, then slightly to the right (far beyond other systems in the area, with Bolivar being the closest).

  1. From the Alpha Centauri system, jump across to the right to the Olympus system.
  2. From Olympus, jump down to the right to the Volii system.
  3. Your next jump is to the Bolivar system to the lower right. The Alchiba system should be in view if you zoom out.
  4. Finally, you can jump down to the Alchiba system and consider your expedition a success. Good luck with your surveying efforts.

Alchiba Star System Facts

A planetary view of Starfield's Alchiba III with a breakdown of its key traits and resources.

The Alchiba System is home to ten planets and 18 moons, and isn’t controlled by any faction. Despite having no specific quests to complete, nor flora or fauna to discover, there are some useful resources you can find. For example, miners can collect the exotic resources Palladium and Ytterbium, crafting components, along with a handful of rare resources.

Don’t forget you can craft a Ytterbium Extractor if you want to collect this resource more easily. Please check our guide for more info.

Alchiba’s other notable trait is Alchiba-1’s incredible time dilation. One local hour is dilated to 100 universal hours, which is great for speeding up your galactic resource farms.
