The time it takes to beat Sniper Elite: Resistance differs widely based on the goals of the players. Players that will only play the main story without any of the side content can beat the entire game in a single sitting. Adding side objectives will add an extra hour or two.

The game will have several yellow and blue objectives to complete throughout the game. These are the Main and Side objectives respectfully. There will also be a red-marked KIll Target. Missions 1 and 9 will be the shortest of all the campaign missions.
The story of the game is relatively short for a Sniper Elite game, but the game offers a lot of replayability. Different difficulties will also play a part in how fast players will tear through enemies during their initial playthrough.

Replaying the game on Authentic is not just challenging; it is a lot of fun. Making shots without any assistive features means players can feel a true sense of reward and pride when they get a gold medal for a 400-meter-long shot. There are also a lot of collectibles to seek out in the game, although players will want to play on an easier difficulty to not get frustrated by annoying enemies.
Finally, players will have plenty of achievements/trophies left over to hunt for. Even if players change the difficulty to Civilian for this cleanup, players are going to need to grind plenty of kills with secondary weapons, rifle shots of 100 meters or more, and ghost kills with pistols. Players that only play with their favorite weapons up until this point will find themselves with many hours of gameplay still ahead of them.
Players that have already played out the story for their initial playthrough and for an Authentic run might not want to go through all of that again just to get their weapon numbers up. This is where Survival mode can shine. This is a game mode where players can booby trap enemies, plant mines, and rack up a lot of secondary weapon kills for trophy/achievement hunting.
Overall, Sniper Elite: Resistance offers a short story experience that can be increased to quite high numbers thanks to its replayability and achievement/trophies.
