Hideo Kojima’s seminal Metal Gear franchise joined this list as part of Fortnite’s Chapter 5, Season 1 on January 25, 2024. The aptly named “Sneaking Set” gave Fortnite players access to Solid Snake and Raiden in a variety of alternate styles, as well as numerous Pickaxes, Back Blings, Gliders, and Emoticons inspired by the legendary Metal Gear Solid titles. The collaboration has left fans hopeful for future crossovers between Fortnite and Konami, and rumor has it that more Metal Gear content could be coming soon.

A new Fast and Furious crossover is rumored to drop for Fortnite soon, bringing two of the series’ most iconic characters into battle.

Reliable Fortnite leaker Shiina recently received word that Fortnite is planning another Metal Gear collaboration in the near future, as shared by Reddit user KvasirTheOld on r/GamingLeaksandRumours. No details have been shared about what this alleged crossover will bring, but many users suspect that it will tie into the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by including skins of Naked Snake/Big Boss, Eva, or even The Boss. Some other character suggestions include Raiden’s cyborg form from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Quiet from Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a modern-gen remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, a prequel that tells the story of Naked Snake, aka the Big Boss, as he embarks on a dangerous mission to prevent the Soviets from unleashing a powerful superweapon within an unforgiving jungle. After much rumor and speculation, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater’s release date was officially confirmed to be August 28, 2025.

This would be a golden opportunity for Konami to promote Metal Gear Solid Delta with a new Fortnite collaboration, though it should be pointed out that this is all just a rumor at this point.
