Law Enforcement Career Reward
Once your Sim is promoted to detective, you’ll unlock the Prints Charming Fingerprint Scanner. With this tool, your Sim can scan objects around them for fingerprints to see who last interacted with it. It builds your Sim’s logic skill quickly, though your sim may not always be able to identify who used the items last.
Additionally, your Sim can give lessons to others or ask for lessons to use the scanner.
While building skills and finding out who’s been touching what on your lot, the fingerprint scanner also increases the fun motive, reducing boredom. Once the scanner is in your house, other Sims can use it as well. It’s a great tool to use and barely takes up any space.
You can only obtain it once per sim in the career, but you can unlock another by having the sim quit and rejoin the career. They’ll have to work their way back up to detective, but you’ll get another scanner.
