Zenless Zone Zero Leak Reveals 1.6 Deadly Assault Enemies

A recent leak from Zenless Zone Zero is revealing the lineup of powerful bosses players will be able to challenge in the “Deadly Assault” game mode during Version 1.6. The urban action RPG from HoYoverse features several different endgame game modes for players to test out their skills and teams, with a variety of challenges. The Shiyu Defense game mode offers a similar experience to Genshin Impact‘s “Spiral Abyss,” while the various “Hollow Zero” game modes task players with navigating roguelike mazes with increasingly powerful enemies. Now, one of the game’s hardest challenges is getting a new update.

First introduced in Version 1.4, Deadly Assault serves as one of Zenless Zone Zero‘s most challenging game modes. Each rotation of Deadly Assault features three powered-up versions of the game’s “Notorious Hunt” bosses, requiring players to use different teams to clear each boss. Players can also make use of special buffs to power up their teams and encourage specific playstyles, as well as exploiting the unique Attribute weaknesses of each boss. Zenless Zone Zero‘s newest leaks are now showing off the lineup of Deadly Assault enemies in Version 1.6.

Zenless Zone Zero Leak Shows 1.6 Deadly Assault

A new leak shared to the Zenless Zone Zero leaks subreddit is revealing the three phases of Version 1.6’s Deadly Assault. The first phase, beginning on March 21, will feature the “Unknown Construction Complex,” “Typhon Destroyer,” and “Corrupted Overlord Pompey” bosses. Phase 2, starting on April 4, will swap the Construction Complex for the “Notorious – Marionette” boss while Corrupted Overlord Pompey is replaced with “Notorious – Pompey.” The third phase will feature two more new Zenless Zone Zero bosses with “Dead End Butcher” and “Sacrifice – Bringer” added to the game mode alongside the Unknown Construction Complex.

Phase 1 (March 21-April 4)

• Unknown Construction Complex: 75,669,077 HP, Electric and Ether Weakness
• Typhon Destroyer: 78,608,768 HP, Fire Weakness, Electric Resistance
• Corrupted Overlord Pompey: 79,372,665 HP, Electric Weakness, Fire Resistance

Phase 2 (April 4-April 18)

Phase 3 (April 18-May 2)

• Unknown Construction Complex: Electric and Ether Weakness

The lineup of bosses featured during Version 1.6’s rotation of Deadly Assault will look to benefit several of the game’s newest characters. Each phase features at least one boss boasting a weakness to Electric, with Silver Soldier Anby and Trigger set to debut as new Electric characters. The phases also include several bosses with Ice and Fire weaknesses, lending themselves to players running Version 1.4 S-Rank character Miyabi and the soon-to-be-released Evelyn. Zenless Zone Zero‘s Version 1.6 update is expected to launch on March 13.

Zenless Zone Zero‘s Version 1.6 is set to bring loads of new content to the game beyond its updates to Deadly Assault. Rumors have suggested that players may be receiving a free character during Version 1.6, with new A-Rank character Pulchra expected to be given out as a free reward. The update is also expected to introduce new story content, likely heavily focused around Anby’s mysterious past and the OBOL Squad faction. Zenless Zone Zero fans should have lots to look forward to from the game’s next update and beyond.
