There are many strong Lightning Type cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket that are perfect for building decks. Find out about them in this guide.
Best Infernape ex Deck In Pokemon TCG Pocket, Explained
Infernape ex has proven itself as a powerhouse Fire Type ace, equipped with a solid 170 HP and massive damage output through the Flare Blitz attack – which deals 140 damage in a single turn, but discards all Energy attached to Infernape ex.
The greatest strength about this deck is without a doubt Infernape ex’s Flare Blitz, yet this comes at the cost of Energy conservation. However, with the addition of Moltres ex as a secondary Pokemon ran alongside Infernape ex, Infernape suddenly becomes much more viable. Moltres can use the unique Inferno Dance move once per turn to attach up to three extra Energy to your Benched Pokemon, depending on coin flips.
This enables you to consistently provide extra Energy to Infernape, potentially even replenishing all four Energy (including Energy Zone Energy)needed for Flare Blitz in a single turn. Giovanni is incorporated as a damage booster, upping Infernape’s damage per turn to 150 – more than enough to knock out plenty of different Ace Pokemon and ex cards. Lastly, to help utilize this tactic, cards to offer extra support with Energies and assist in the switching out of Moltres and Infernape have also been included, such as Dawn, X Speed, and Pokemon Communication.
