The place features large bodies of lava and includes dangerous mobs, such as Blaze, Ghast, and Magma Cubes, to name a few. As a result, venturing into this dimension can be a perilous journey for inexperienced players. However, some materials can make it worth checking out. Since the game’s launch, the Nether has been expanded, gaining new biomes and structures, such as the Bastion remnant. Recently, one player decided to make a real-life tribute to the location.

Minecraft adds Firefly Bush to the recent snapshot, and while it’s an exciting addition, it also serves as a bittersweet reminder.
Taking to YouTube, a builder known as Edge of Bricks shared a video showcasing their incredible LEGO Nether project. LEGO makes for a fitting medium when recreating Minecraft environments due to its blocky nature, and this Nether build is an excellent example of that. As seen in the video, the Minecraft fan included many iconic elements of the hellish dimension, such as a Nether Portal. However, one of the stand-out features was the massive Bastion remnant structure, which used more than 7,000 bricks. In addition, the player included a variety of mobs in the design, including Piglins, Striders, and a Ghast.
Minecraft Fan’s LEGO Recreation of the Nether
In the YouTube video, Edge of Bricks detailed the building process. According to the creator, the dimensions of the baseplate were 30×50 studs, making this the widest project they had done. Among the challenges of building the Nether in LEGO was creating the floor. Using a string of lights laced around the bricks, they made the floor glow, giving a lava effect to the finished design.
This LEGO redesign of the Nether has caught the attention of YouTube users, with fans complimenting the creator on their impressive work. Praise went to both the massive Bastion remnant and the floor lighting, with many pointing out the skill needed in designing the various elements of the build. In addition to the Nether, Edge of Bricks has created other Minecraft LEGO builds. For instance, they recently recreated the new Pale Garden biome. In addition, they have made builds from Star Wars and the Horizon games.
While Minecraft has released official LEGO sets, it is interesting to see fans come up with their own custom creations. As seen with Edge of Bricks’ detailed build, some fan projects can eclipse the scale seen in official sets. With so much content in Minecraft, there are many options when choosing a new project based on the game.
