Rumors of an Oblivion remake have been circulating for a while now, and while that would be exciting, a new and improved version of New Vegas would likely be a much stronger decision. Releasing a New Vegas remaster alongside season 2 of Fallout could be the perfect one-two punch that reignites excitement for the installment. Many longtime fans of Fallout already know what New Vegas has to offer, but getting the chance to see its features in a new light while also attracting new players could be huge for the franchise.

As Hope For a New Vegas Sequel Dwindles, a Remaster is the Next Best Thing
At this point, a full-blown sequel to New Vegas feels unlikely. Of course, the next mainline Fallout could potentially be set in the location, but a fresh setting seems more possible. If a sequel never happens, a remaster or remake is a strong second choice, especially alongside a television season centered around the game’s location.

However, only time will tell if a tandem release ever comes to fruition. The Fallout fan base has wanted to revisit New Vegas for a long time, and Amazon Prime is at least making that happen, even if it isn’t in a game.
