First-person shooters are one of the genres that’s come to define gaming on PC. Between the rip-roaring action of a good gunfight, social interactions of an MMO, or the long-term decision-making of a strategy game, playing on our computers has been characterized by some key experiences. Prey, Titanfall 2, and Doom Eternal always come to my mind when I think of FPS games, as they’re easily some of the best. If you want more shooters, then, this new Fanatical Bundle encourages you to choose only what you want, and you can grab each game for less than $2.

I’m going to start with Prey. From the excellent minds at Arkane Studios, this is some of the best immersive-sim action your money can buy. You play as Morgan Yu, who awakens on the space station Talos 1 to find that something has gone very, very wrong. The halls are empty. The crew is dead. And a shapeshifting alien called Typhon roams what’s left, disguising itself as everything from a coffee cup to an office chair. You need to utilize all the FPS game‘s equipment, each environment, and what you can glean from whoever’s left to escape – just make sure you hit any inanimate object that looks suspicious.

Then we have Wolfenstein The New Order. This was the first entry in MachineGames’ revival of the Nazi-shooting series, and it doesn’t disappoint. The year is 1960 and the Germans have won WW2 using advanced technology. That means ravenous robot dogs, energy weapons, and a whole lot more. If you’re looking for a modern take on some old-school shooting, Wolfenstein is the blood-pumping answer you need.

Speaking of old-school, Dimensional Slaughter is one of the many excellent reimaginings of classic shooter mechanics. This fluid and fast FPS combines quick kills, neon lights, and the ever-reliable grapple to create a confident experience that I really love. If you enjoy boomer shooters like Dusk, Warhammer 40k Boltgun, and Ultrakill, you need to give Dimensional Slaughter a try.

While Dusk doesn’t make the Fanatical sale, another game from its developer David Szymanski does: Chop Goblins. The eponymous little freaks are loose across space and time, and you can dispatch them all in one sitting if you so choose. Szymanski calls Chop Goblins a ‘microshooter,’ with just five levels across all manner of historical periods. Don’t let the length fool you, though, because the game has a staggering 97% rating from nearly 2,400 reviews, netting it the ‘overwhelmingly positive’ moniker.

In the rest of the Fanatical bundle there are also games like The Pony Factory, Quake, Graven, and Spawl, so you’ve got plenty to build your ideal game selection around.

Fanatical’s Explosive bundle is available until Friday February 28, with multiple options available. You can buy either a bundle of three, five, seven, or more games, with the latter the best value for money. If you buy seven or more games that’ll cost you $9.99 / £9.99 – that’s less than $2 per game. You can find the deal on Fanatical.

If you want even more without spending a cent we’ve got all the best free Steam games and free PC games you can play today.
