Guitar Hero is an iconic game not only for starting the trend of plastic instrument games becoming mainstream, but also because of its difficulty ceiling. Guitar Hero has plenty of songs that are approachable for beginners, but to this day, players are still challenging themselves to beat some of the toughest songs in the game, often with extra requirements put on top. Such was the case with CarnyJared, who picked up a fan-made offshoot of the game, Clone Hero, to attempt one of the toughest songs.

Twitch Has Banned ItsKatchii

Twitch streamer itsKatchii, known as Katchii, responds after receiving a seven-day ban from the platform on February 6.

In a recent Twitch stream, CarnyJared was challenging himself to beat Through the Fire and Flames, one of Guitar Hero‘s most renowned playable songs, on 200% speed. A clip shows Carnyjared in an extreme state of focus in the final stretch of the song. Unfortunately, CarnyJared slipped up, and immediately paused the game, having a strong reaction to his mistake. CarnyJared jumped around, saying that “it’s never gonna end!” and generally appearing hyperactive at the flub. Suddenly, he said that he had to sit down because he was going to pass out, and seemingly did just that.

CarnyJared Moment Surprises Fans

After sitting down, CarnyJared lifted his hand to his face and then appeared to lose consciousness briefly, beginning to slump forward in his seat. After a few seconds, he snapped to and got back up, looking at the screen and being reminded of his Twitch failure all over again. Meanwhile, his audience shared messages of concern and amusement, with some joking that he needed to drink more coffee, while others worried about how pale he appeared.

Considering that Dragonforce‘s Through the Fire and Flames is renowned for its speed in the first place, clocking in at 200 beats per minute, setting the speed to double that is asking a lot of even the most talented Guitar Hero players. While it’s hard to say exactly what happened during the stream, it’s likely that Carnyjared experience a combination of an adrenaline crash and possibly a sudden drop in blood pressure as he lept up from his seat. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem as though he’s experienced any long-term effects from it, but players should always take care to remain hydrated and take occasional breaks to help keep them safe while gaming.
