PUBG Studios, the developers behind the popular PUBG franchise, have officially announced a new 5v5 team-based top-down tactical shooter called PUBG: BLINDSPOT. Previously called Project ARC, is now set to start its playable demo from February 21 on Steam, letting players experience its strategic, fast-paced combat for the first time.

PUBG: BLINDSPOT is a 5v5 top-down tactical shooter that focuses on strategy, fast-paced combat, and realistic gameplay. It’s now confirmed for PC only.

Two teams compete with the attacking team having to secure a building’s entrance and use a gadget known as a decrypter. The defenders, on the other hand, have to use barricades and other tactics to keep their opponents out. The game’s name itself defines its core gameplay mechanics and the psychology behind its development.

Players can play the game can play it on Steam Next from February 24 to March 3. You can also give feedback to improve the game. The game’s demo will feature four demolition mission levels and three deathmatch maps with ten unique characters and unique tools. Players can use popular weapons like the AWM and Mk14 along with some grenades and flashbangs.

Krafton has said that they will gather user feedback to make the game better.

PUBG Studios has also released a new trailer featuring Matt “Kickstart” Smith, a well-known PUBG Esports athlete. The trailer shows Demolition Mode, where teams have to carefully plan their movements and execute them with precision to win. It shows the games focus on teamwork, strategy, and skill-based combat.
