Submit, or Die! is the tenth chapter in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, and it is home to four Crystal Skulls, several Life of the Gods, and one Jewel of the Demon Seal. While players are certainly not required to track down every one of those collectibles, some fans will undoubtedly want to find them all. This guide is here to assist with that endeavor, and it will help players grab every collectible as they work to complete Chapter 10 in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black.
If a player ever gets lost in Chapter 10, they should stand still and hold RB to point the camera in the right direction.

Get Crystal Skull #1
Chapter 10 begins with Ryu Hayabusa on a snow-covered street, and players should replenish their supplies at the nearby shop and follow the path, dispatching the enemies that they encounter along the way. This route will eventually bring fans to a tunnel with a save station, and they should make a quick save as they pass through.
After exiting the tunnel, and slaying the wolves that appear, players should enter the nearby building to initiate a fight against numerous ninjas. A gate on the first floor will rise as soon as those foes have been addressed, and fans should pass through the opening to return to the snowy exterior.
Players will now find themselves on a path that is littered with hidden landmines. Ninja Gaiden fans can minimize the damage that they take from these traps by walking on top of the rectangular tracks that appear in the snow, and the path will eventually bring them to a spot where Ryu is fired upon by two turrets. Here, players should face the turrets and then turn around to find the level’s first Crystal Skull.
Get Lives of the Thousand Gods
Players should now head towards the turrets, making sure to stick to the rectangular path, and dispatching any enemies that appear. Fans can then make a save near the entrance to the building that is beyond the turrets, pass through that building’s open door, and open the chest that is against its far wall to obtain a Lives of the Thousand Gods.
Get Life of the Gods #1
Several ninjas will now appear in the building with Ryu, and players should defeat them and pass through the open door near the front of the room. Beyond that door fans will encounter a vertical section, and they will need to perform several multipart wall runs as they work their way to the top.
At the top, players will find several large bells, and they should jump toward the bent pipe near the center of the area to grab it. Fans should then shimmy along this pipe to reach a chest that holds a Life of the Gods.
Get Crystal Skull #2
Players should now return to the pipe, continue to shimmy along it, and jump towards an area with a closed door. Upon landing, several Ninja Gaiden 2 Black enemies will burst through the door, and fans should defeat them before passing through the newly-made opening. Players should then descend the stairs beyond that opening, and they will find the level’s second Crystal Skull in the wall as they make their way to the bottom.
Get Crystal Skull #3
At the bottom of the stairs, players should dispatch a group of spectral fish and jump into the open altar. Fans should then pass through the underground tunnel, take down the foes that appear on the subway platform, and enter the first subway car when its doors open.
Inside the subway, players should head left and enter the first door on their right. Fans should then look to the right to locate the third Crystal Skull.
Get Jewel of the Demon Seal
Once the third Crystal Skull has been collected, players should turn around and pass through the door that is directly ahead. Fans will now find themselves in a small bedroom, and they can interact with the body on the bed to receive a Jewel of the Demon Seal.
Get Life of the Gods #2
Players are now free to return to the subway platform and use the stairs at the far end to ascend. At the top of the stairs, fans should make a save, climb another flight, and battle Godomof. Notably, this boss is similar to one that players fought during Chapter 4 of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, and a similar strategy should be used against it.
With Godomof defeated, players should pass through the hole in the wall and fall through the hole in the floor. Fans should then follow the underground corridor and enter an open cell on the right at the bottom of a descending slope. There is a body in that cell, and interacting with it awards a Life of the Gods.
Get Lives of the Thousand Gods (Hard Difficulty or Higher)
Players should now make their way to the final cell and pass through the hole in the wall. Fans should then continue forward, cross the water to reach a short walkway, and open the chest on the left. This chest holds a Lives of the Thousand Gods when playing Ninja Gaiden 2 Black on Hard difficulty or higher.
Get Crystal Skull #4
Players can now make their way to the far end of the water-filled area and climb the stairs that they find there. Fans are now on a path that will lead them past a save station, which they should use, and into a clock tower that is filled with large gears.
Players must now use the gears to reach the top of the tower, taking extra care to avoid falling. As fans climb, they are guaranteed to pass by the level’s final Crystal Skull.
Beat Boss
At the top of the tower, players will do battle with Zedonius, Ruler of Flame, and defeating him marks the end of Chapter 10. While this is certainly not the hardest boss in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, there are a few concepts that fans may find useful:
- Stay defensive, working to block Zedonius’s melee combos and evade his grab, projectiles, beam, and slam.
- Go on offense immediately after the boss finishes one of his attacks.
- Use short offensive combos in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, such as light attack, light attack, heavy attack, to avoid getting caught by a followup strike from Zedonius.
