Microsoft Rewards is currently offering a Middle-earth Movie Collection. Digital versions of the extended cut of The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit trilogy are available for a mere 1500 points per film. This is a huge deal for a couple of reasons. The extended edition of the films tends to be the preferred version among fans. Additionally, the point cost for the films is ridiculously low. For comparison, an Amazon $5 gift card currently costs 6500 points on the service. In other words, users are getting a deal that breaks down to roughly four of the movies for less than $5 worth of points.
