There are many romanceable characters in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and one of the first in the story is Klara, the herbswoman and tenderer of wounds in Nebakov Fortress. Players will first meet Klara during the ‘Back in the Saddle’ quest when Henry and Hans set off from Trosky castle to parley with a local lord.

As there are initially no quest markers or objectives involving Klara, this short dally is easy to miss. In fact, it’s only by engaging in a friendly duel that Henry will even hear about her.
How To Romance Klara In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After arriving at Nebakov Fortress as part of the ‘Back in the Saddle’ quest, Henry will be told to keep himself busy while Sir Hans Capon meets with the knight of the castle. Players should follow their guide, Adjutant Michael, and eventually, the two men will sit down to talk.
Accept To Fight Michael & Then Go To Klara For Healing
At the end of their conversation, Michael will offer to fight Henry in a friendly duel for the honor of their respective lords. To have a chance of romancing Klara, accept the offer and proceed with the duel.
Henry is expected to lose and take a bit of a beating, so don’t worry about faring too well. After the fight, Michael will tell Henry to go see Klara for healing. From the fighting area, head down the slope, past the smithy to Klara’s hut.
As Klara watched the fight, she will need around 20 seconds to walk back to her hut, so don’t worry if she’s not there immediately.
Talk to Klara and she will heal Henry no matter his dialogue choices. She will then ask if he wants to accompany her on a walk to gather herbs. Agree with the ‘I can’t say no to a comely maid’ option.
Accompany Klara On A Walk & Pick Herbs For Her
At first, players need to do no more than follow Klara and answer her questions about home. Eventually, the pair will reach a meadow and by talking to Klara, she will ask Henry for help picking herbs. Agree by saying ‘Sure, I’ll be glad to help’.
Henry is now tasked with finding 4 Sage, 5 Poppies, and 8 Marigold. If the player is already carrying any of these, then they count toward the total. If not, they are all found close by and have the following properties.
- Sage: Tall purple plant.
- Poppies: Big red flowers.
- Marigold: Large orange flowers.
Once you have the necessary flowers, head back to Klara.

Find Out Klara’s Secret & Answer Her Riddle
Klara will lead Henry to a secluded spot in the forest. She will ask Henry a riddle and the correct answer will successfully romance Klara and the two will lie together.
The correct answer is the top one: ‘I think she’s called Klara’.
If players miss out on this chance, they will have a second chance to romance Klara during The Finger of God main quest.
