How To Get Legendary Roe in Stardew Valley
Unlike regular fish that can be directly placed in ponds to produce roe quickly, Legendary Roe requires a Legendary Fish to be placed in a pond, where it will slowly produce roe over time.
First off, you’ll need to catch one of the five Legendary Fish in the game. Each legendary fish has its own unique requirements and locations. Once caught, place it in a pond, and it will gradually produce roe. Remember, only one legendary fish can reside in a pond at a time, and they do not naturally reproduce like other fish.
How To Build A Fish Pond in Stardew Valley
Just like other Farm Structures in Stardew Valley, you need to visit Robin
and pay the required amount of money and materials to start construction. Here’s what you need to pay:
Uses of Legendary Roe in Stardew Valley
Like regular roe, you can place Legendary Roe in a Preserves Jar to make Aged Roe, which is a higher-value Artisan Good. For instance, Glacierfish
produces four units of Roe at a time, each of which sells for 530 gold. Selling all four units at once will net you 2,120 gold in one go, which is a pretty decent amount.
However, placing Glacierfish Roe in a Preserves Jar for three days turns them into Aged Roe, each of which sells for 1,484 gold. Selling all four Aged Roe units would result in 5,936 gold in Stardew Valley. As such, selling Aged Legendary Roe provides a much higher profit compared to selling fresh roe.

Stardew Valley features five distinct fish classified as ‘Legendary”. These are Angler, Crimsonfish, Glacierfish, Legend, and Mutant Carp.
