How To Equip More Weapons In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
In the player inventory, your equipped weapons can be found in the bottom left corner of all your currently equipped items. The last eight boxes along the left signify both hands for a total of four loadouts, with only the first loadout being available. To gain access to additional boxes and equip more weapons, you’ll need to find and equip a belt. A basic Hunter’s Belt will probably be the first one you can find, and that will give you access to a second loadout letting you equip a second weapon.
When in your inventory, you can open up the more information panel of your belts to look at the stats at the bottom of that window. For belts, they will have the, “Number Of Weapons” category, indicating how many weapons you can equip at once. You’ll need to progress the game to find better belts to get access to three or even four weapons at a time.

How To Switch Weapons In Combat In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
You can change weapons anytime in combat by opening the menu and simply equipping a different weapon, even during combat. The downside to this method is it will require you to redraw the weapon, and briefly leave you without anything in your hands after closing out of the menu. The better option for changing weapons is to cycle to a different weapon on your belt. You can open up the Belt quick menu by the following buttons:
- PlayStation/Xbox: Left on the d-pad opens the belt menu along the bottom left of the menu, where you then choose which weapon you want to switch to.
- PC/Keyboard: 1,2,3,4 to immediately switch to the corresponding weapon.
While it is possible to switch weapons without needing an upgraded belt, it’s a simple fix to a problem that can quickly change the tide of a fight. When switching weapons with the menu option, enemies can use a combo while you’re defenseless, which will also keep you from drawing your new weapon. While you’ll still need to draw your weapon when switching from your belt, you won’t have a brief time of having nothing in your hands and instead will imminently switch from one weapon to another.
