Genshin Impact Reveals New Genius Invokation TCG Cards for Version 5.4

Genshin Impact has officially revealed the new cards being added to Genius Invokation TCG with the RPG’s Version 5.4 update, including one of Fontaine’s most popular cast members. HoYoverse has already given fans plenty to look forward to within the next update to the massively popular RPG, with a new five-star character and an Inazuma-focused event. Version 5.4 will introduce Inazuma clinical psychologist Yumemizuki Mizuki to the roster, alongside a main event centered around Inazuma’s “Mikawa Festival.” Now, one of the RPG’s most popular game modes is getting an update as well.

First released during the Version 3.3 update, Genius Invokation TCG has served as a mainstay of Genshin Impact since its debut. The TCG game mode features a plethora of Character Cards based on both the RPG’s playable roster and several iconic enemies and bosses, with players building decks around three Character Cards. The trading card game has received regular updates, adding new cards to the game, even featuring multiple in-game events focused heavily around the TCG. Genshin Impact is now gearing up to add two new characters to Genius Invokation TCG in Version 5.4.

On top of an already stacked Version 5.3, Genshin Impact reveals the new Genius Invokation TCG cards that will be added in the upcoming patch.

With just a few days remaining until Version 5.4’s release, HoYoverse has officially revealed the new cards coming to Genius Invokation TCG. The update will feature two new Character Cards coming to the game, with Natlan five-star character Kinich joining the TCG alongside fan-favorite Fatui Harbinger Arlecchino. Each Character Card will boast unique mechanics based on their abilities, with Kinich using Nightsoul Blessing to swap with his teammates and Arlecchino granting Bond of Life stacks to both increase damage and provide healing. Genshin Impact‘s Version 5.4 will officially release on February 12.

Genshin Impact Reveals Version 5.4 Genius Invokation TCG Cards

Arlecchino Character Card

• Normal Attack: Invitation to a Beheading: Deal 2 Physical DMG. If possible, consume up to 3 stacks of the target’s Bond of Life and increase DMG by the same amount.
• Elemental Skill: All is Ash: Create 5 stacks of Blood-Debt Directive on the opponent’s side of the field and deal 2 Pyro DMG.
  • Blood-Debt Directive: After your character receives DMG: Attach 1 stack of Bond of Life to the character who took DMG and the opponent’s Arlecchino.
• Elemental Burst: The Balemoon Alone May Know: Characters won’t receive healing from sources other than Balemoon Rising. When Bond of Life is attached to self: Physical DMG dealt by characters is converted to Pyro DMG.
• Talent Card: All Reprisals and Arrears, Mine to Bear: When your active character is Arlecchino, play this card on them. Attach 3 stacks of Bond of Life to Arlecchino. When your Arlecchino, who has this equipped, takes DMG, if possible, consume 1 stack of Bond of Life to negate 1 DMG.

Kinich Character Card

• Normal Attack: Nightsun Style: Deals 2 Physical DMg.
• Elemental Skill: Canopy Hunter: Riding High: Select one of your characters, attach Grapple Link to self, and enter the Nightsoul’s Blessing state. Deal 2 Dendro DMG, then switch position with the selected character.
  • Grapple Link: After the opposing side takes Burning DMG, or your other characters use a Technique: The character to which this is attached gains 1 Nightsoul Point. When Nightsoul points are at 2: Attach Grapple Link to the character to which this is attached, then consume 2 Nightsoul points. (After Grapple Link is attached, before your characters select their actions, if the attached character is the active character: Deal 3 Dendro DMG to the nearest opponent
• Elemental Burst: Hail to the Almighty Dragonlord: Deal 1 Dendro DMG and create 1 “Almighty Dragonlord, Ajaw”
  • Almighty Dragonlord, Ajaw: End Phase: Deal 1 Dendro DMG, then deal 1 Dendro DMG to your opponent’s next character.
• Talent Card: Night Realm’s Gift: Repaid in Full: When your Kinich, who has this equipped, switches to become your active character or uses Canopy Hunter: Riding High: If you have the same amount or fewer cards in your Hand than your opponent, steal 1 card from their Hand with the highest original Elemental Dice Cost, after which your opponent draws 1 card.

Event and Support Cards

• Flower-Feather Clan: After you Discard 2 cards: Your next off-field character gains 1 stack of “The next time this character switches to become your active character, recover 1 Elemental Die of the corresponding color.
• Tepetlisaur — Treasure Hunter at Large: Add 2 Abundant Phlogiston cards to both your and your opponent’s Decks, after which both of you draw 2 cards.
  • Abundant Phlogiston: After the next time your character uses Nightsoul points this round: This character will regain 1 Nightsoul point.
• Hot Spring O’Clock: Heal the target character for 1 HP and 1 additional HP for each Summon on your field.

Alongside the two new Character Cards, Genshin Impact‘s next Genius Invokation TCG update will introduce three more cards for players to slot into their 30-card decks. “Flower-Feather Clan” will be a new Location card, recovering additional Elemental Dice after discarding two cards. “Tepetlisaur – Treasure Hunter at Large” looks to play the role of a high-risk, high-reward event card with both players adding “Abundant Phlogiston” cards to their Decks and drawing two cards. “Hot Spring O’Clock” will also debut as a new Food Event card, providing additional healing based on active Summons.

The new updates to Genius Invokation TCG look to provide even more depth in a game filled with deck-building choices for players to make. Genius Invokation TCG has already introduced a sizable roster of Character Cards, with more than 100 different options for players to choose from when building their decks. The game mode continues to add multiple new Character Cards with every update, often including sizable expansions to the game mode in each region’s X.7 patch. Genius Invokation TCG players will have multiple new cards to play with in Genshin Impact‘s next update.
