Shulong Information Technology has announced the upcoming public beta of the highly-anticipated action MMORPG, Dragon Nest World, scheduled to launch on Android and iOS on February 20, 2025, in China. A remake of the original IP, the game previously conducted two tests, the first in September and the final 27-day test, which began on January 9, 2025. Reservation for the game is currently available.

Dragon Nest World is an action MMORPG and a classic remake of the beloved fantasy MMORPG, Dragon Nest, originally developed by Eyedentity and launched in 2010. Over the years, there were various sequels and spin-offs on mobile before, like Dragon Nest Labyrinth, Dragon Nest: Awake, and more.
The first open-world MMORPG, World of Dragon Nest, an adaptation of the original PC game version was launched on January 8, 2020, but is inactive now. I can’t express my excitement for this remake, as the devs aim to bring the classic PC experience to mobile while preserving the pure fun and nostalgia of the game.
Developed by Shengqu, this version has been completely reworked while maintaining the original charm of the game. The producer stated, “We found that the old version could not meet the players’ combat standards for the Dragon Nest IP. ”
The game brings back the iconic locations and challenging dungeons
I am happy for the recreation of iconic locations, storylines, and systems. The game features 4 classic professions with 8 specialized jobs, along with the PvP combat system. You can freely customize combos, mixing multiple skills and actions into a single button. A seasonal ranked system is also being introduced, with ranking and points resetting on seasonal rules.
I can’t wait to explore Prairie Town, Magic Ridge, Kedra Leve, and Holy Heaven with friends and new allies. What’s even more exciting is the return of the original storyline and also the revival of the nest mechanics and gameplay, allowing you the chance to take on challenging dungeons like Minotaur and Hellhound Lair.
The game looks very promising with its 3D non-target action battle system, stunning combos, equipment enhancements with guaranteed success, professional skills, and more. Dragon Nest World is scheduled to launch its public beta on February 20, 2025, on both Android and iOS in China.
