Despite its breathtaking recreation of medieval Bohemia and its reliance on realism to provide one of the most authentic role-playing experiences in recent memory, one of the standout features of Kingdom Come: Deliverance was its stealth mechanics. There was simply nothing quite like sneaking into houses and stores late at night, or silently taking out bandits one by one at their camp. Now, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 brings back stealth in a much bigger and better way. While it’s not necessarily the playstyle for everyone, it’s still one of the most rewarding ways to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Even more so than the first game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 does everything it can to encourage stealth gameplay. While it’s a high-risk playstyle, especially with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s crime and punishment system, it’s also a high-reward way to play the game, and it seems to be quite confident in that. Players that may not readily prefer stealth gameplay in an RPG might be encouraged to think twice about it when entering the immersive world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, given the massive payout that can occur if they manage to do it without a hitch.

The main reason stealth is such a rewarding way to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is due to the immense wealth it can lead to if players do it successfully. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s economy isn’t necessarily terrible, but it is realistic, and since Henry isn’t a noble with a lot of Groschen in his bank account, players might find themselves barely scraping by, even after playing the game for dozens of hours. This is where Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s stealth comes in, as players can fairly quickly become one of the richest people in the land of Bohemia if they play their cards right.
Throughout Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s open world, players will find plenty of worthwhile opportunities to take advantage of the game’s immersive stealth system, from the houses, stores, and even pockets they can rob, to the unaware enemies wearing valuable armor pieces that can be sold for a pretty penny. While robbing civilians and stores, players are likely to find plenty of Groschen, as well as other valuable items that they can then sell later on. Sometimes, the enemies that players may find while exploring Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s map have the most valuable items on them, and there’s also no penalty for looting and selling them.
Items that are stolen from innocent civilians and stores are marked as stolen and will be difficult to sell because of that, but that mark will disappear after a certain amount of time has passed in the game.

Occasionally, as they play through the main story and various side quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, players will be asked to go about things quietly. While Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s emphasis on player choice ultimately allows them to approach anything in whichever way they want, doing what the quest calls for can have the biggest payout.
