Supercell drops a new season in Clash Royale every month, usually with new cards, evolutions, and balance changes. The new season for February is here, and it has introduced fans to a new card: the Berserker.
Berserker is the 118th card in Clash Royale, introduced in Season 68. It’s a common card that costs just two elixir. Unlocking it is easy, but knowing how to use it properly is what really matters.

How to Use Berserker in Clash Royale
As you can see in the stats table above, Berserker doesn’t deal a ton of damage on its own. In fact, if you leave it to target a tower without support, it won’t be able to take it down. But that doesn’t mean it’s useless. When placed right, it can be pretty handy.
For example, fans can use it to deal with giants like Rune Giant, Royal Giant, and Giant. They might still land a few hits on your tower, but using Berserker against them gives you a solid positive elixir trade. What really makes her shine is her extremely fast hit speed of 0.5 seconds.
On top of that, Berserker can be used to counter many 2-4 elixir cards. Some examples include Knight, Valkyrie, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Bandit, Ice Wizard, and even Wall Breakers.
One of the best things about Berserker is that it can survive most spells. Unlike many other low-cost cards, it won’t get taken out by Log, Arrows, or even Fireball, making it a solid defensive option. And unlike giants that go straight for towers and buildings, Berserker targets enemy troops as well.
Having said that, the Berserker is really bad at attacking. As we mentioned above, she can’t destroy a tower on its own, even if your opponent doesn’t defend. It’s easy to counter with low-elixir cards like Spear Goblins, Goblin Gang, and even Ice or Electro Spirit. Plus, since it can’t hit air units, it’s completely vulnerable to cheap air troops like Bats and Minions.
Overall, the Berserker is a decent defensive card in certain situations. It works well against certain cards but struggles against most tanks and isn’t great for offense. It’s a good choice because it only costs two elixir, but honestly, Knight is a better alternative. For just one extra elixir, the Knight offers better value both for defense and offense.
