Veterans of Pokemon TCG Pocket know that every new expansion brings with it a list of hidden objectives and ultra-rare collectibles. The first of these rare items to make waves was the secret Mew card, followed by the discovery of a secret Celebi emblem tied to completing a specific themed collection. Now, with the release of the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, players have uncovered a new secret emblem featuring the Dragon-type Pokemon Garchomp.

All Space-Time Smackdown Palkia Pack Cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket
There are some pretty amazing cards available in Space-time Smackdown Palkia packs, which may make life tricky for Pokemon TCG Pocket players.
As you might expect, obtaining the secret Garchomp emblem in Pokemon Pocket won’t be easy. In fact, each time you open a pack, there’s less than a 1% chance that it will contain any of the cards needed for the challenge. That said, we’ve put together a guide on how to target the hidden Garchomp emblem in Pokemon TCG Pocket, as well as the chances of collecting all the necessary cards.
How to Get the Secret Garchomp Emblem
To unlock the hidden Garchomp emblem in Pokemon Pocket, you need to complete the Champion of the Sinnoh Region secret mission. This mission requires you to collect one copy of a rare variant of the following cards: Gastrodon, Lucario, Spiritomb, Cynthia, and, of course, Garchomp.
The mission’s requirements won’t appear in the Themed Collection menu. Instead, the objective becomes visible only after you’ve met the requirements, as is the case with all other Secret Missions in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
The Champion of the Sinnoh Region task is variant-sensitive, meaning you must collect the exact variant of each required card. If any of the cards don’t match the specified variant, the Garchomp emblem reward won’t be triggered.
How to Complete the Champion of the Sinnoh Region Mission
The Champion of the Sinnoh Region mission requires the full-art (also known as Art Rare) variants of Gastrodon, Lucario, Spiritomb, Cynthia, and Garchomp. Once you collect one copy of each of these five cards, you’ll be rewarded with the secret Garchomp emblem.
Use the following table to see which packs and cards you need to target for this secret mission:

The Chances of Unlocking the Hidden Garchomp Emblem, Explained
The total drop rate for the full-art cards needed to complete the secret Garchomp emblem objective is 0.897%. Here’s the breakdown:
- Cynthia (two-star): 0.041%
- Gastrodon (one-star): 0.214%
- Spiritomb (one-star): 0.214%
- Garchomp (one-star): 0.214%
- Lucario (one-star): 0.214%
With less than a 1% chance of collecting all the rare cards, we wouldn’t recommend burning through your Pack Hourglasses to chase them—unless you’ve already collected every essential card or are a collector seeking the rarest items in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
If you plan to target the Garchomp secret emblem, be prepared: it could take over 500 packs to get all the required cards. That could cost you around $750, assuming you’ll need to purchase Poke Gold to open extra packs.
