Bugged Balatro Seed Gives You 52 Copies Of The Same Card

I’m a recent convert to seeded Balatro runs. I never understood why people played them until I tried this NSFW seed, purely based on its name. It was immense fun – and completely broken – and ever since I’ve sought out other seeds to test my luck in between regular runs.

You see, seeded runs offer you the chance to see how tried-and-tested strategies work. You can follow instructions of varying degrees of difficulty in order to perfectly synergise your deck and get scores so high the numbers turn into letters.

Of course, immediately after trying the NSFW seed, I tried all manner of other swear words, to no avail. But a friend put me onto a seed that gives you 52 copies of the same card, the Ten of Spades.

Erratic Seeds

To get this deck, simply enter the seed 7LB2WVPK while using the Erratic deck. Et voila. Any regular reader of TheGamer (which you all are, aren’t you? Good.) will remember that I spiralled into madness over the Christmas break because I couldn’t stop resetting my runs with the Erratic deck to get the best results possible. Someone else has clearly done that work for me, and hit the jackpot.

In case you didn’t know, the Erratic deck works by randomising the cards in your deck. Therefore you can feasibly have four Kings of Hearts, 17 Aces, or in this case, 52 Tens of Spades. The chances of the latter happening are infinitesimally small (I’m not mathsy enough to know the specific probability), so I’d pop this seed in rather than resetting until you find it naturally.

There’s one caveat to Balatro seeded runs: you can’t unlock anything. If you haven’t already played Eris on your game, playing it in this run will not unlock it for your progression stats. Beating Ante 8 will also not unlock the next difficulty of deck, and your Jokers won’t get the chip sticker. If that’s not a dealbreaker for you, or you’ve already 100 percented the game, crack on.

Playing Balatro With 52 Copies Of The Same Card

This seed is completely broken. Not only do you have 52 copies of the same card in your deck, meaning you can play Flush Fives every single round, the first shop has a Walkie Talkie Joker, which gives every ten you play +10 chips and +4 mult. To be perfectly honest, you could make it past Ante 8 with this and one other Joker. There are a few Rare Jokers that crop up, so take your pick of The Duo, The Trio, or The Family, as all of them proc with Flush Five. I picked them all up – there’s no reason not to – alongside some economy Jokers and Brainstorm, and quickly racked up millions of points.

It gets a little boring in the early antes, but when you get to the Ante 10 mark you need to start paying attention. Try to open as many Celestial packs as possible looking for Eris, and Arcana packs to buff those Tens. I opted for Steel and Glass mostly, but haven’t quite got the deck manipulation down to a point where I can reliably draw them. A couple more runs, though, and we’ll be golden. Not literally.

This is the power of the Erratic Deck. I knew it could happen. That’s why I spent so many hours resetting my game weeks ago. But I didn’t understand just how powerful it could be. Now you, too, have a chance to taste this power.
