Summary
- A Baldur’s Gate 3 modder has fixed some common bugs with the epilogue camp.
- Now, your companions should react correctly to your decisions and the approval you had with them in the game.
- The mod works with Patch 7 and 8.
Back at launch, Baldur’s Gate 3 came to a very abrupt end. An update added an extra conversation with our love interest – if they were alive – and then this was further addressed by the addition of the epilogue camp.
The only issue is that this reunion can be pretty damn buggy. Characters can respond to the events of the game incorrectly, or forget what kind of relationship you had with them before the final battle. In my case, Wyll kept referring to my custom character as Lae’zel – and I was forced to go along with it. It was pretty weird.

This Mod Gives Us Epilogue Camp Bug Fixes For Baldur’s Gate 3
Finally, our companions should react to the events of the game correctly
One of the main issues the mod addresses is a bug with how approval worked. Apparently, it was assuming we had zero approval with everyone, locking us out of dialogue we were supposed to get for being their friend. Here’s a list of ways this will affect the camp gathering:
- Astarion will call you “darling”.
- Jaheira will call you “cub”.
- Lae’zel will call you “friend”.
- Your character won’t assume that Halsin and Shadowheart hated them unless they actually had low approval with them.
There are fixes for Origin Karlach players, since their love interests were not responding correctly to a decision in her story. The mod should also stop Minthara from referring to you as if you were Gale, since that is a very odd mistake to make.
The mod should work on the latest patch, even if you were given early access to Patch 8. Fingers crossed, some fixes are rolled out in an official update too.
