Iron Bow

Damage: 5 – 10

A step up from the previous bows that can be found in the game, the Iron Bow is a basic version of the weapon. Without any special effect, this level seven common rarity bow can deal consistent damage, and will also increase Dexterity power by three points.

In addition, Stamina will be increased by one point. The Iron Bow can be obtained by defeating Mouths inside of the Crescent Keep zone, or by purchasing it from the second tier of Sally’s Store.

Mekspike Bow

Damage: 7 – 12

The Mekspike Bow can deal more damage compared to the Iron Bow, but this offensive ability comes with a variety of downsides. The common rarity level eight Mekspike Bow only increases Dexterity power by two points, and doesn’t increase Stamina.

At the early stages in which both of these weapons can be found, an increase in damage still makes this weapon worth using until better upgrades can be obtained. It can only be obtained from the Tuul Valley zone by defeating Mekboars.

Menace Bow

Damage: 9 – 17

Elemental damage is a feature that has not yet been added to Atlyss, but when it is the Menace Bow will be one weapon effected. The Menace Bow is a level 12 Rare item that deals damage with the Air element.

Damage dealt with the Menace Bow is the first large increase of offensive ability on this list, which is balanced by only having a three-point boost to Dexterity power. In addition, critical hit rate is increased by three point eight %. Until elemental damage is added, the Menace Bow is still a powerful option. It can be obtained from the Crescent Keep zone.

Petrified Bow

Damage: 12 – 18

Like the Menace Bow, the Petrified Bow also deals elemental damage. This level 13 weapon deals Shadow damage, with an upper range comparable to the Menace Bow but with a much higher lower range to balance this.

Stamina and Dexterity power are both increased by three points each when wielding this bow, and the rate at which critical hits can be applied is increased by a sizable four percent. After defeating Lord Zuulneruda in the Sanctum Catacombs, this weapon can be found inside of the boss chest.

Necroroyal Bow

Damage: 14 – 20

The Necroroyal Bow is a weapon notable for the increase in damage it is capable of dealing. It can be obtained in a variety of ways, all within the Sanctum Catacombs. On various levels it can either be dropped by enemy Poltergeists or found within chests on the higher difficulties.

When wielding this bow, Dexterity power is increased by five. There are no special effects or elemental damage, but the direct offensive potential it this weapon offers is enough to want to upgrade to this bow.

Mithril Bow

Damage: 16 – 19

The Mithril Bow has a lower maximum damage, but a higher minimum damage when compared to bows of comparable level. To offset this, the Mithril Bow offers an increase of Stamina by three points when wielded.

This is a choice between direct offensive ability and the potential to last longer in a fight. Dexterity power is increased by six points when equipped, and the critical hit rate by zero point 32 percent. The Mithril Bow can be found inside of pots in the Crescent Grove dungeon or purchased from Sally’s Store.

Serrated Longbow

Damage: 17 – 20

The level 17 Serrated Longbow is capable of dealing large amounts of damage without sacrificing the lower end of damage dealt. This weapon can deal as much damage as the Necroroyal Bow but still hit as hard as many of the other bows on this list at even the lowest possible damage.

When equipped, Stamina is increased by an impressive seven points, and Dexterity power by a whopping 12. The Serrated Longbow can only be obtained from chests in the Crescent Grove dungeon.

Coldgeist Bow

Damage: 20 – 27

The Coldgeist Bow is the most powerful bow in the game, and the lowest possible damage it can deal is still equal to the maximum of even the second best bow after it. The Coldgeist Bow has a ten percent chance to apply the Cold status debuff, an effect which has the ability to slow enemies.

Stamina is increased by five points when equipped, and Dexterity power is boosted by eight. This is not as much as the Serrated Longbow, but the potential for damage makes up for this. Defeat Lord Kaluuz to claim this bow as your own.
