While it’s unclear if we’re going to be getting any more official support for Football Manager 2024, we’re turning to its incredible modding community to keep us up to date until FM26 arrives.

Whether you’re looking for a post-transfer window overhaul or a quick day-to-day update, sortitoutsi’s FM24 Data Update mod promises “the most up-to-date and realistic FM24 database possible.” This will be a huge one going into the 2025/26 season seeing as FM25’s been canned, so install this mod to effectively turn your game into FM24.5. What’s more, sortitoutsi boasts tons of different databases, including, for example, the Turkish leagues.
Increase Realism
Daveincid’s Increase Realism megapack is a must-have mod for anyone looking to get the most out of the FM24 experience. Sporting improvements to just about every aspect of the game, from AI transfers to club finances to realistic injuries, this mod is a genuine goldmine. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the pack is the way global talent distribution has been broadened, granting the opportunity to dig up potential diamonds from far-flung regions and leagues.
Cut-Out Player Faces
The inability to put superstar names to superstar faces is a big immersion-breaker for many, but fortunately, the Cut-Out Player Faces mod ensures you’ll never forget what the likes of Messi and Ronaldo look like (not that you could, anyway). With over 480,000 faces included in the rather hefty 13GB pack, it’s unlikely you’ll ever come across a blank face again (outside of regens, of course).
Club Logos
What’s the point of kissing the badge in celebration if it’s not even the right one? Well, the team over at Football Manager Graphics clearly feels strongly about this, introducing a host of logo packs that you can add to your game. The default logo megapack brings a massive 87,000 logos (more than the capacity of the Bernabéu) to the game, including all of your favorites.
Real Names License Fix
Just as licensing issues in FM24 have marred player faces and club logos, so too have they affected names. DanFMDatabases’ Real Names License Fix adds the names of not only every playable club, but the names of all major leagues, a chunk of missing stadium names, and more.
England Lower Leagues Database
Taking a team from total obscurity to the top of the world over many, many seasons is tantamount to the FM24 experience, and the England Level 20 database for FM24 lets you pick up a club from a whopping 20 leagues down the English soccer pyramid. This even includes a team that I (Aaron) briefly played for during the twilight years of my not-so-glittering Sunday League career – wild.
